1. Santi-The Academy Is...
The reason I love Santi sooo, sooo much is because it was the album that got me totally & completely addicted to TAI's wonderful songs. :)
The lyrics are so deep & meaningful & yet so relatable to my own life. This album is why William Beckett is my hero & why his lyrics never cease to amaze me. <3 I couldn't say ENOUGH about how much I love this album!
2. From Under the Cork Tree-Fall Out Boy
The first Fall Out Boy CD I'd EVER listened to..& thanks to a friend in youth group several years ago, (four to be exact. :P) who had me listen to the album, I am now fabulously in love with Fall Out Boy & their wonderful music. They're so metaphorical sometimes it befuddles me, but Pete Wentz, like Bill does not cease to amaze me with his lyrics. I also like the whole Patrick's voice before he got REAL soulful thing. It's just a great album.
3. Pretty Odd-Panic at the Disco
Alright, so some people argue that new Panic sucks, blahblahblah, but I beg to differ. Although me & Mer call it crack smokin' music cause the lyrics are so off the wall, sometimes you just need a upbeat poppy album to listen to right? ^^ & I think Pretty Odd as "pretty odd" as it may be, is a wonderful CD & just puts you in a feel good mood. :)
4.Day & Age-The Killers
So, who's really got anything bad to say about The Killers? Anybody? Good, didn't think so. I love Day & Age because it's so different from Hot Fuss, Sam's Town, Sawdust & every other thing they've done, yet at the same time it's not. The lyrics are fabulous & always so meaningful. :) If you can't find someway you can relate to The Killers through their lyrics, there's something wrong. x)
5. Fast Times At Barrington High-The Academy Is...
Alright, this album is MY high school career in CD format. Every song, every lyric, every pulsating drum beat, & every strum of the guitars. It is my high school experience, from the highs & the lows & everything in between. It scares me sometimes how DEAD on William Beckett can be on my life through his lyrics. I'm like O_o!! But in a good way of course. :) I listen to it nearly everyday & I don't believe there's one bad thing anyone could say about this album. It's TOO fabulous! <3
6.Viva La Cobra!-Cobra Starship
Sometimes you just wanna have a dance party & Viva La Cobra is one heck of an album to dance to! :D Their lyrics are so witty & funny, but so true at the same time & plus it doesn't hurt that the music has meaning & you can dance to it. I mean come on, what's better?
7.The Twilight Soundtrack
Now I know this may be downright silly or nerdy, but I don't care. :P It has the BEST compilation of music. Plus, there's just this certain mood & atmosphere about it when you listen to it. I love the Twilight soundtrack so much. :)
8. Mmhmm-Relient K
I listened to this all the time back in the day. I still listen to it. Matt Thiessen is a musical genius! <3 I love the lyrics, the piano, the slow songs, the slammin' guitars & the upbeat songs. Relient K are just so awesome. :D They're good live too, seen them 5 times & they never dissappoint & neither does this album. :)
9. We the Kings self-titled album
We the Kings' music is so upbeat & happy. :) It's the perfect soundtrack for summer or if you're in love or if you wanna "Stay Young" haha.
They just make such good, cute music & I dunno if they'd like me describing their music as cute but it is. xD We the Kings are just real good. :)
10. All We Know is Falling-Paramore
I remember seeing Paramore when they opened up for Simple Plan when no one knew who they were. This album holds a lot of memories & I just love how fabulous Hayley's voice is, I really wish I could sing like that. :X But in all honestly,it's a great album & is great to listen to.
Now I know this only says 10, BUTTTT I have one more! :)
11. Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge-My Chemical Romance
MCR hold a dear special place in my heart & probably always will, but I haven't listened to them as often as I used to since they've taken their break & whatnot, but it's still a favorite album. <3 Gerard's voice is so unique & I know I couldn't have made it through freshmen & sophomore years without this album & their wonderful music. :)
