  • smiled.
  • This one time at band camp (actually it was a blues festival) I bought £10 worth of stuff at a shop and discovered I was two pound short. I went to put some stuff back and a cute little old lady behind me in the que and said "dont put that back I'll pay for them. I'd expect anyone to do the same for me." I tried to deny this generousity but she was having none of it, so I accepted and walked away with a smile on my face.

I would never do that for any Stranger.

    I love old ladys.
  • how sad.

i guess you can say im those weird strangers that smiles at you while walking down the street cuz you seem sad.

    cutest quote

  • They've given me a discount at the store for a bracelet I wanted but couldn't afford. I was like two cents off and she looked at me and smiled. Within seconds I had more then two cents back and the bracelet. Funny isn't it? How life works. That had to be one of the greatest days of my life because of that small token of help.
  • When I was waiting at a bus stop on my way to drill, a guy pulls up and offers me some money and a ride to where I need to go. Normally, I'm against that sort of thing, but I have to admit, it was nice and wasn't for anything other than to help someone out.
  • A couple of years ago I went to Manzanillo, Mexico with my mom, dad, and brother. While my mom was watching my brother in the kiddie pool, my dad stayed with me on the beach. I was just playing on the shore and my dad told me to come into the water. He pulled me in and thought he could carry me, but suddenly he was underwater holding my foot trying to keep me up so that I could breathe. I was still underwater soon to stop holding my breath and I don't remember what was going through my head. I waved my arm and wiggled my leg, hopefully I could swim up. I was stuck. A hand pulled me up by the arm and close to his chest. He began to swim to shore. I only looked back silently and after a few seconds my dad popped up to swim behind us. We only thanked him, but I wish we could have done more. The man from Manzanillo saved the life of my dad and I.

  •   My boyfriend had just shipped out to basic training, and I was at a baseball game with my cousin and her best friend, my brother and his girlfriend. I sort of felt like a third wheel. Everyone was talking to their other half, and I was just perched on a picnic table when a man walked by carrying roses. I asked him how much they were, and he handed me one. He told me that they were usually three bucks, but he'd cover me. It made me feel really good. Like, maybe it would all be alright. It made me sile in that confident way that showed off how pretty I could really be...

  • My "friends" don`t even offer to do things.
