Based on the books on your bookshelf, what conclusions would people draw about you?

  • I think they would correctly come the conclusion I am obsessed with Historical Fiction as the bulk of my reading tends to be in that genre. I don't know why , I just seem to able to get more into a story if it's set in a period that I like. It's rare that I write modern day stuff, although I'm going to try more. I also have quite a lot of romance, although I don't like all of it and I get annoyed with Regenccy Romance, because there is such a glut in the market and it's gets very dull reading about umpteen improbable dukes who happen to fall madly in love with a fiesty governess and do not behave remotely like anyone from that time actually would. I also have quite an extensive collection of non fiction for research - biographies and history books.
  • Им просто нечего будет сказать...немая сцена. Никто не может быть равнодушен к книгам, просто многие скрывают свои чувства слишком глубоко.
  • They'd think I love chemistry. Which I don't. =/

  • Well hello there lj: Quick update before I have to leave work: MR. SEXY BALLROOM MAN IS DATING MY SUPREMELY AWESOME SWING DANCE TEACHER!!!!! *insert dramatic telenovela music here* POR QUE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I am super depressed because I love Mary and she's a great teacher and they are kind of like really cute together...but now I can't hate her for being Mr. Sexy Ballroom Man's girlfriend, because she's a actually a decent human being and good for him. (It would be SOOOOOO much easier if he were dating someone icky and nasty that I could be totally justified in hating since they would be a waste of human space and totally unworthy of Mr. Sexy's awesomeness.) Universe I firmly believe that when you slam a door in my face you open a window somewhere, but do you think that maybe, just once, YOU COULD NOT SLAM THE FREAKING DOOR IN TEH FIRST PLACE?!?!?!?!?!? I WILL find another Sexy Ballroom Man! I will! *clearly not in this town because all the rest of the people I see at the studio are either at least twice my age or with their significant other.* But I am bound and determined to find me a man *or woman at this point in my life I'm not too picky* who can stomp the boards and do some dancing with me! *and I mean DANCING. not the ass wiggling shuffling from foot to foot that passes as dancing in clubs these days* In other news...yeah not much other news. Will return when something of interest happens. Pip pip Cheerio!

  • That I'm quite a book-worm, that I'm childish, that I love to read, That I'm completely messy, that I'm fluid in two languages, that I'm more into fiction books than non-fiction ones, that I'm a women(!!), that I have a very wide range of interests.. And funny thing? none of this conclusions would be wrong....

  • Ummm.... I need a real man in my life instead of smutty romance novels? Eh, sounds about right. XP
