When I first setup my livejournal, I didn't expect to write in it much. I only set it up to be able to post to communities and to leave non-anonymous comments. My views have changed a bit since then and I've come to enjoy LJ a lot.

This means that in my livejournal you will find occasional rants about my daily life and fate in general. Mostly though I post about my views regarding movies, tv-series or books that hold my attention.
I don't write fanfiction, but I love writing meta. I also do beta-reading, because it fits my nitpicky personality. :-)

I enjoy many different fandoms and don't like it when they are compared in a non-constructive way, e.g. Star Wars is so much better than Star Trek, the Star Wars original trilogy is so superior to the prequel trilogy. It's perfectly possible to like both Star Trek and Star Wars or enjoy all the Star Wars movies. I'm living proof of this. :-)

I don't bash characters. In fact, I'm able to like many diverse characters. E.g. I like Angel, Spike, early Wesley *and* Riley.

At the moment, I'm watching Buffy and Angel, two shows I missed when they were broadcast years ago. For fun, I'm posting my impressions on every episode since the final episodes of Buffy's first season. You can find all my entries on this subject in my memory section along with other fandom musings - both by myself and others.

I love to read fanfiction and don't mind if it's gen, slash or het - as long as the story is well-written and the characters appeal to me.
