Perhaps the above offended you? Perhaps you can't understand how anyone can claim to have read the HP books but then scream "DIE RON DIE!"?? Perhaps the mere idea and concept of this site stirs in you the desire to author an essay extolling Ron's virture, excusing his ignorance and pontificating on the ways in which Ron Weasley could evolve as a character with behaviorial maturation.
Bugger off. This site is not about excuses, donning rose-tinted glasses or speculating on how he *could* change. For every time you feel sorry for him, we here shall say, "Get over it!" For every time you choose to give him the benefit of the doubt, we here will see the other extreme and maybe even raise you one. For every time you speculate on how Ron may mature, we'll point out how that's only speculation and he might not. In fact, we'll also point out that he may DIE! He's got too many death omens surrounding him, not the least of which is the phrase "DIE RON DIE" which comes forth from his own mouth. If *you* read the books, then *you* should know that!
This site began as a lark becuse those of us who think it's FUNNY to mock Ron thought it would be funny to make a community for it. It was just for laughs. There were no posts nor even members for nearly a month. I myself had forgotten it even existed and thought we might have deleted it but, when recent talk with other friends turned to Ron and his idiocy, I found the site still here and open for use. And so it was used. It's funny. It's fucking hilarious, in fact and I've gotten more laughs off this site than I have icons from any other other community. (And that's saying something.) But somehow, because some people didn't have enough to occupy their own lives, this community became public knowledge. And then spawned others. Including communities just to organize those who oppose us, the people who hate a fictional character. Wow. Now that's making some waves. And so a wank was born and, as the full moon passed, so did the wank. But the community is still here. Those who aren't fond of Ron are still here. The many eyes that came here to see what all the fuss was about have almost all surely passed by now. But just in case it ever comes up again, let the user info speak for itself.
