I am interested in civil engineering applications for robotics. I have a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, where I focused on robotic systems. I got my MS in Robotics (2001) and in Civil Engineering (2002), backed up with a BS in Math/CS (1997) from Carnegie Mellon). Yeah, I'm an eclectic intellectual.
I am a Captain in the USAF. I do stuff for them. It's a good career, good culture, good mission.
My wife is Jenna (
coffeebeast). We were married in 2003.
Our daughters are Eloise and Amelia. Eloise met us in early 2006 and Amelia met us in late 2007.
My writing professor said I tend to be long winded. Specifically, he meant that when I write about something, I try to write just about everything in my head. I'm trying to edit, so that my journal is a little more interesting than the engineering documents I produce.
