<a name="Listening"></a><h3>Listening to Voice Posts</h3><br />
Voice posts are encoded as either MP3, WAV, or Ogg Vorbis files, depending on the settings used when the voice post was recorded. MP3 voice posts will display using an in-line Flash player, while other file types will need to be downloaded to your computer in order to be played.

<a name="Transcribing"></a><h3>Transcribing Voice Posts</h3><br />
You can transcribe your voice post by clicking the "transcribe" link. Transcriptions do not allow HTML, and are limited to 4096 characters.

In the past, you could also grant your friends permission to transcribe your posts. If this was used, you can see a history of transcriptions by clicking the "Transcribed" link at the bottom of a voicepost. The most recent transcription will appear in the voice post journal entries; if the entry was transcribed more than 10 times, only the 10 most recent transcriptions will display.

<a name="Deleting"></a><h3>Deleting Voice Posts</h3><br />
Voice posts can be removed either by <a href="" rel="nofollow" rel="nofollow">deleting the journal entry</a> the voice post is in, or by deleting them from the <a href="" rel="nofollow" rel="nofollow">file manager</a>.

If you delete an entry containing a voice post, you cannot re-post the audio file to another entry or recover it from the <a href="" rel="nofollow" rel="nofollow">file manager</a>. Voice posts are associated with an individual entry, and the entry they are associated with cannot be changed.

<a name="Storage"></a><h3>Storage</h3><br />
Your storage space contains your voice posts, <a href="" title="FAQ #246: [[faqtitle:246]]" rel="nofollow" rel="nofollow">ScrapBook files</a>, and <a href="" title="FAQ #1: [[faqtitle:1]]" rel="nofollow" rel="nofollow">userpics</a>. Your account's total storage space is determined by your account type.
