More Dhanakosa Pics
The bruising on my bum from the wee tumble I took has gone down lots and lots. But there was a pain that just wasn't going away, and it wasn't on the same side that I fell. So yesterday I finally went to get it looked at. Turns out that I broke my pelvis. Which sounds more exciting than it actually is. If I'd fractured it then it'd be rather a problem. But as it's just a wee cracked bit of bone in a place that tends not to flex it's not a problem. Jogging isn't advised. But then nor is falling off a bike.
Some more photos from Dhanakosa the other week. Trees are still involved, but I wasn't thinking "photos of trees" for these. And those are Buddhist prayer flags, not dirty laundry. So they tell me.

eeeek about your hip :( i hope you feel better soon.
Take care!
You create such lovely photos - I especially loved your earlier overexposures. Stunning nature shots!
I hope you don't mind that I've added you as an lj- friend.
Certainly I don't mind, no.

And thanks.
I generally don't post photos on my livejournal, but I have them all in this gallery here. Lots of nature photography there.
When in doubt, get in close :-)
No I don't mind in the slightest :-)
I'm just a French visitor who had found your LJ adress on the Neil Gaiman's site... And I'm curious !
So... These photos are so brilliant ! Very beautiful, very meaningful for me! There is a special atmosphere ! I Love it!
Bye
Camille
Excusez mon français cassé!
You're a professional photographer ?
Haha - no. Only in my dreams :-)
It's just something I do for pleasure.
