Oh wow, my cat finally had her kittens! Ooooh
they are sooo cute, 3 silver tabbies and one
solid black. I can't wait till they get big
enough to be properly snuggled.
In other news Sir_Hellsing's fic Durga has
greatly inspired me. I've started working on a
Hellsing tarot deck(the major arcana at least),
that promises to take up a good bit of my time
for a while at least. Sadly I have no scanner
anymore, so it may be a long while before anyone
gets to see them.
So far I've finished one, go me! Rather than
going by the visual aspects of the cards i'm
picking which character goes on which card by
their general meanings instead. The first and
most obvious card is number 11 Justice.

In yet other "news" i'm currently player FFX and
reading "Interview with the vampire". Good stuff
all around.
On a final side note, someone recently asked me
if I was a lesbian >.<; I'm taking that they
assume this because of my recent SerasxIntegra
obsession ne? Let me just say Shiva is not a
lesbian, she likes the c0xx0r juust fine, she
just apreciates the female form as well ^_^ That
and IxS just make the most deliriously perfect

You know I was actually half joking when I said I was thinking about doing a Hellsing/James Bond crossover, but after some thinking I managed to eek this out. I'm surprised something so short was so hard to write, I guess that's why good crossovers are rare.

I just wanted to let everyone know who might wander into my journal, that as of the 28th my computer time will be limited to null. You see, my brother is moving out of the house (finally), and taking his oh so shiny and expensive computer with him. This makes me very sad. So I'm resigning from my RP groups, putting my Gaia character into hibernation, burning about 30 gigs of anime and music to disk, and leaving this message.
If anyone needs to contact me, or just wants to talk, my LJ will be about the only way. I may not have a computer, but I still have my Dreamcast by god! It’ll let me get online and do some of the most basic internet things (i.e. check email and LJ, read fan fiction), but nothing so fancy as IM or word =/ I have tons of fan fiction I really need to type up and post, but it doesn’t look like I'm going to have time. So for everyone who was looking forward to the rest of the alt ending for “A Hellsing Christmas”, it may or may not happen.
When I buy own computer, I promise tons of fanfics and fanart will be posted, as I should have a good backlog of stuff by then. I’ll still be around, just not an active participant in the fan fiction community. Hope to be back in action soon! -Shiva

It's that time again. The time when Christmas and
New years has passed, and all we can do is lay
back and try and soak up the remaining holiday
cheer. Still stuck in this haze, I find it
terribly hard to drag myself back into the real
world, or even the "internet" world.
Some of you (somebody, somewhere) have noticed
my absence of late. I assure you, this is solely
due to said after holiday lethargia. I've been so
busy playing my new Christmas games (Tales of
symphonia) and watching my new anime (Azumanga
Daioh plus much more) that I have had little time
for much else. Add to that the frequent absence
of the computer in the house, due to its frequent
LAN party adventures, and you get some seriously
suffering writing.
So to everyone who was reading my Xmas fic,
I’ll eventually pull myself out of my
comfortable slump, and finish the damn thing.
Q: So aside from anime and video games, what
have you been up to Shiva?
A: I'm glad you asked imaginary voice. I have
indeed been doing some writing and drawing
lately. I've posted a few Hellsing related pics
at my Devi account, but that will be it for some
time. For some reason my scanner adds this odd
greenish line down the center of everything I
scan. So everything that is not black and white
(I can just grayscale it to return it to its
former state) is not getting posted until I fix
it.
As for writing...Everything I’m doing is in
the draft stage right now. I've decided to try my
hand at one of my many loves: some good old
fashioned Femme-slash. Due to a serious lack of
well written IxS fics, I feel it is my duty to
try and put something halfway decent out there. I
also feel like it’s about that time I write
something for my other love, the threesome. I've
seen many good 3some fics lately (mostly by Seras
Kelia) and these inspire me to write a few of my
own. I want to tackle something I have yet to
see; a Hellsing fic involving the OTHER type of
threesome. Any requests? If I can pull it off,
I’m leaning towards AxSxA ~.^

Like a lightning bolt from the sky, doth strike inspiration. Or some such crap. I finally have started really writing again. I finished the first two chapter of "Diary of a Police girl" and wrote a random introspective peace for no reason. It feels good to be inspired.
Do you ever feel like you have to get up and pee more than usual? I think for me that’s either a sign that time is "passing" faster, or I’m just drinking more. And no, I don't have a bladder infection >.<
Anyway, I’m playing Vampire the masquerade: Bloodlines right now. So I'm expecting some of that to leak its merry way into my writing. Frankly however, the two fandom’s mix about as well as oil and water. Masquerade vampires are so gentle and friendly! Ok well maybe not really, but they seem nicer that your garden variety FREAK.
In an odd tandem with playing vampire, I am also reading the new testament of the bible. I can just see how weird my writing is going to get now. In fact, I can say numerous biblical references have wormed their way into my freshly written ficlet. What exactly IS a ficlet anyway? Under 500 words? So a drabble is less than a ficlet? What about if it’s around 1000 words? Oh whatever, it wasn’t very long in any case.
In other news, Shiva now has a stalker! Unfortunately it is the many times calling a day type. She is an odd 16 year old girl, who is more than a little bit dyky. She wrote me this LOVELY note with such charming sentiments as "You’re my queen, and I wanna be your king." Am I the only one disturbed by that? Anyway, she keeps bugging me to spend the night at my house @.@ I'm afraid of teh-manwoman rape! Maybe I should tell her I have herpes or something.
Back to the fan fiction. I'm thinking of tweaking the last chapter of Shine. I received a very nice and HONEST review the other day that said something along the lines of: "This fic was shockingly good right up until the last chapter. But you did your best so oh well." I...I did my best? And it still sucked? T_T It was the clothes ripping wasn’t it? I REALLY just wanted to finish it, but maybe I shouldn’t have been so hasty. Not like it matters, everyone who would read it likely already has. So maybe we'll call it learning and apply it to the future.
I'm issuing a challenge to everyone interested in the Hellsing fandom. I'm writing a nice drunken Xmas fic, and I want to be challenged with the most off the wall pairings you guys can think of. Any characters from Hellsing or Iscariot apply, but the millennium will not be making an appearance. Xmas+Nazis= ):
Likely there won't be much in the smut department, as I'm going for more of a humorous parody style. But the numerous multiple endings should make everyone happy!

Well today I started working on "Diary of a police girl". AFF is still down, so i haven't posted chapter 7 of shine there, but it's here at least. I did a quicky edit for fanfiction.net, instead of my origonal plan to write a new ending. I'm just feelin too lazy for that.
Let's see..I'm still learning the inner working of livejournal. But I think I got everything down. I'm going to start doing reveiws for the HellsingReveiws LJ comunity. God those guys are funny. I've already got a few pieces picked out that I think more people need to read.
I was bored today, so I colored one of my B&W LJ icons of Seras. I think I took it from some doujinshi in which Seras caught Alucard and Integra going at it @.@ Naughty Seras, always peeking in on people. You know, I actually found a doujinshi that featured WalterxSeras. Isnt that crazy? ANYway, I wish I could actually read japanese. That would be nice. Hohum, anyone know when the new chapters of Hellsing are getting translated? I can't wait to find out what happens.
Anyway, I think i've decided to make DoPG a kind of "interactive" story. As in, kind of let the reveiwers decide what happens next? Well maybe not, but I intend to make several endings. It should be loads of fun for everyone.
Well looks like my nazi brother is home, and wants to get on xbox live. I'll post the first chapter of DoPG as soon as its finished!

Yes! I finally finished Shine! Wow it took forever to do the last chapter. It topped over 6000 words on its own :gonk: I just sent it off to be beta'd, so hopefully that won't take too long. (Note, i'm obviously moving some older entries from elsewhere to here. Shine is now finished being beta'd and will be posted on AFF when it stops acting like an asshat). I haven't posted chapter 7 anywhere, but I think I'll just stick it in memories so people can veiw it when AFF is down. Shesh i'm still figuring out how to take it down to an R..Allthough it is pretty close as is.
This will be the first time I've ever finished a multi-part piece of writing. I'm really happy with the feedback I got with it. So much so I'm thinking about dusting off some of my old stuff for posting, and seeing how it does. Who knows, maybe feedback will give me the inspiration to finish some of them.
I think I'm going to start right away on Diary of a Police girl. I really want to do a silly romantic "drunk mistletoe" cliche fic for the holidays! But that will only be a very small portion of the story. I'm thinking of making it kind of 'interactive', where the reader gets to decide who Seras ends up with XD or I'lll write a chapter with each pairing at the end. Gwehehe, this will be so much fun.
Another story I'm thinking of dusting off a typing up is a giant fanfic I started quite a few years ago, that got just over 100 pages of front and back note paper. Shesh...I estimate that to be somewhere around 80k words. I'm sure I'll get 0 feedback for it, as it A): Has an original female character as the lead. B) Is a pokemon fic (albeit it's a somewhat gritty look into the underbelly of pokemon's organized crime racket), and C) Even I have to admit it needs some serious polishing.
After having whetted my whistle in the dark art of the lemon, I'm considering adding another chapter to "Impure thoughts" (My quickie stab at a Seras/Anderson fic). Someone had a wonderful idea of switching over to Anderson's POV and having him have some thoughts of his own. I even thought up a humorous and devilishly devilish twist for the ending.
Fic number something I need to post (have one chapter done) Is Rena's Adventure, a star ocean 2 fic. It's basically a Rena/Dias story (which you never see), but also a smutty romp that includes Rena in her own adventure with almost the entire male (and a few of the female) characters. I had never really intended to post it, but what the hey. This one would go strait to AFF with very little hope of a salvageable edit to bring it down to R.
The last fic I'm semi working on is the tentavily titled "A sweeter song". A rather standard fare Harry Potter fic rife with Marry Sue goodness. No, really. The main characters are the Blackwater's(Now you know where Darlana Blackwater came from~!), an old and rather strange wizarding family. It will have your usual mystery, romance and betrayal. As no one is really reading this(and if you are, you likely dont care anyway), i'll say that the title comes from on of the main characters who has a very special voice.

Hello my name is Shiva and I'm an animeholic *A chorus of hello Shiva's*
Right then, now that I've abused that old joke. My real name is Michelle, but you can just keep calling me Shiva. What? Ok if you insist you can call me Mi or Miko. My name in Japanese can be pronounced lots of ways: Michirure, Michiyo or my personal favorite Misheru(Michiru).
Ok now that we have the name thing covered, what else do you wanna know? Hobbies? All right, like I said I'm an animeholic, or your basic Otaku. I watch as much anime as I can, pretend I can speak Japanese and have a room covered in anime posters/wall scrolls; and of course I draw the required mediocre fan art and write the mediocre fan fiction.
I also have the prerequisite of a fan obsession. Right now I'm all into Hellsing.
What else do I do? Like I said, I write and draw. I also read a lot, and do generally dorky things: Such as role-play with traditional mediums like Dungeons and Dragons, and work my ass out playing DDR.
But what do I look like you ask? Now why would you want to know that? Ok ok...I'm a 19 year old girl with long reddish hair and brown eyes. I wear glasses and stand at an even 5 foot 7, or 170 cms if you like. I don't have any tattoos or distinguishing marks that you may use to identify me to the police, so don't ask.
So do you have a good feel for what I'm like? No? Well too bad. You'll just have to read my journal to figure that out.
