New Years resolutions?

1) To stop being so hard on myself.
2) To work faster on my arts.
3) To stop being a gluttonous fatass. (Holiday pounds, anyone?)
4) To love Christian more and more and more. (And more.)

You see this? [that's my hand]

This is a brown fucking recluse spider, and it was in my roommates bathtub. It took a hefty amount of raid to kill that thing.

You should see what a bite from one of those things look like. It's kind of gross, so I'll put it under the cut.

Warning: It's not a pretty thing.

Chomp chomp, and a 10 days later... )

Chicago's beautiful. So urban. I've already been to most of the cultral sites. Skiing today. Boyfriend's shaving as we speak. Rawr.

I went to a Japanese Supermarket yesterday. Seriously, like a chink publix. It was SO great! I envy the japanese, and their cheesecake pocky.

Time to chower.

We're going skiing in Wisconsin. How cool is that?

Well, frigid, actually, but sweetness-wise its ranking pretty high.

I want to snowboard.

Finals are over! Over like parachute pants from the 90's. Oh yes. Over more than Stewie Griffin impressions. [Grammar check?]

It's a blustery, rainy, depressing winter wonderland over here... Precipitation as cold as a witch's tit in a copper bra. Luckily, I'm armed and ready with a fleece blanket, slipper socks and vanilla chai. Which by the way, is my new favorite drink. By favorite, I mean a mug at least twice a day. Three tops. It's got this aromatic, milky warm goodness to it (hello, innuendo.) that's simply irrisistable. God Bless the British.

On boyfriend: Oh my Christian! Nobody has ever given me 12-days of Christmas presents before. ...In fact, the song was the most I'd ever really heard of that tradition. I keep dangling that buttony-cute sashimi cell phone strap over and over again. I'm starting to bat it around like a cat. It's gobbledy-good. :) He also got me this toy from japan called Parasite Pals. More specifically, Tickles the Tapeworm. If the concept is hilarious, the Engrish on the box is even better:

"Here is the girl with small friends of life present for always. Some irritation she finds with them, but much fun and love is to be shared!"

Classic.

We're going to Chicago on the 31st, too. Where, in teh afternoons it reaches a sweltering TWENTY DEGREES! We got some cute winter clothes at Old Navy, including a warm knit scarf and a poof-poof hat. Please oh please oh PUREASE, let it snow while I'm there... I want that whole 'frolick and play the eskimo way' experience. I want to make snow men and snow angels... bomb snow-Bagdhad with snow-ammunition... and feed the dog 'lemon' slushies.

I'm sooo excited.

[I hope I don't panic attack on the plane. I seem to have gotten claustrophobic overnight for some reason.]

...

...Hey. Know what's a funny word?

Kerfluffle.

Yeah.

Kerrrr---fluffle.

More jackassery later, perhaps.

Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

Last Sunday I gave [info]_cheshire_cat_ a wet willie, then I took it back (-5 points). In August I pulled [info]hiddendreamer's hair (-5 points). In January I farted in an elevator (-6 points). Last Monday I gave [info]lenegirl a Dutch Oven (-10 points). In July I had a shoot-out with rival gang lords on the 5 near LA (-76 points).

Overall, I've been naughty (-102 points). For Christmas I deserve a spanking!

Sincerely,
sushi_roll

I saw Potter on Friday with teh boyfriend and Cat, among others. I loved it, i really did. I mean, after awaiting a film like that for so long, how can anyone be disappointed? [note: not a valid question]

My thoughts on HP-- Spoilers )

I spent the weekend with Christian. I went to his place last night with my art bin to make cool stuff for his walls. I splattered ink on some bristol, and experimented with it. The coolest effect by far was splattering it onto the paper, soaking it up with some paper towel a minute or two later, then applying small torn peices of wet pt onto select areas. While still wet, mixing it with water separates the ink into its component colors. Brown separates into blue and orange. Gator colors, Fancy that.

Today, I went to Pier 1 to fill out the neccessary paperwork and get my work apron. [It looks so cute. :) ]

Going home on Tuesday. I can't wait to see my family.

My mom is always so concerned about what the neighbors think. One day, I'm going to paint a large penis on our garage door and cover our lawn with plastic, orange flamingos.
