So, the opening ceremonies were AMAZING. Probably the best I've ever seen. As I'm watching it all the artisticness reminded me of 'House of Flying Daggers' to a very high degree. So, I said this out loud to my mom and like not even a minute later they announced that it was directed by Zhang Yimou!!! So, that explained just about everything. It was sooo beautiful! <333

Miyuki Kanbe, pretty much a childhood idol has died. D: I'm pretty much in major shock. She was the 3rd stage sailormoon in the sailormoon musicals and she was also a girl in Battle Royale 2. One of my TOP favorite idols of all time, so much that my email address is that of her character in BR2.

3rd Stage Sailormoon of the Sailormoon Musicals, and actress in the movie "Battle Royale II", Kanbe Miyuki has passed away of heart failure on the 18th at 4:08am, at the Kawasaki-shi hospital and had been announced on the 20th. She was 24 years old. 2 years ago in February, Miyuki had to leave her position in "LeMis" to enter back and forth into the hospital. She dreamed of being an actress as well as a fashion icon again, and believed that she would recover from her illness, but she was also unable to do that.

She had done a variety of things, stage plays, movies, she was a broad idol who had to leave at the youthful age of 24.

A coworker from her company "Rouge" stated, "Her relatives watched over as she passed away. The body had a peaceful facial expression. A nice child and I urged her on until the last moment, she gave it her all, always..." (hard to translate that)

Last year in February and June she couldn't perform on stage. She went into the hospital to get tested and continuously had to enter and leave the hospital. Just this month on the 9th in Tokyo in Shibuya at her office she met with the company president and had a healthy figure.

Previously she would make old clothes into western-clothes because her interest in fashion was high, on the 9th she said, "I don't just want to do acting, I also want to try and express fashion through photographs as my work," that was her burning desire. However, this week she entered and her physical condition took a sudden turn and she had to have an emergency hospitalization. Her relatives watched over her inside, as she had quiet breaths.

Around 2000 she did an audition for "Bishoujo senshi sailormoon" musicals and landed the leading part of Tsukino Usagi out of 500 other applicants; she entered the world of show business. In one bound she become popular. After this she performed in the film "Battle Royale II", Drama "Kamen Rider" and other performances. Opinions were that she strained her body in LesMis and thus she had to drop out. Toho production company offered her, "If your health becomes better, we really wish for you to return."

Also, people who knew Miyuki and were delighted by her had now become really shocked, they felt it was an April Fools type of joke and thought it was just an announcement of her retiring, many surprising emails were sent. Many people talked about her cheerful character.

Her funeral service is on the 21st at the Kawasaki funeral hall and will just be with close relatives.

Alrighty, so I joined WeightWatchers with my mom. It was okay I guess? I feel like I've gained weight since I've been home but apparently I've lost 2 pounds...which is a little shocking considering I haven't eaten completely better, but slightly better. Anyway. They kept talking about portion control and not over-eating; well...I don't eat hardly. So, when the newbies had to stay at the end she said that's a problem because since I don't eat enough the fat stays. Which I suppose is why I can maintain weight well (though at school those trips to ColdStone, and the bad food that's what made me gain instead of maintain like usual...though I was still heavy then) but I struggle at losing it. So, now I get to FORCE feed myself practically. This will be the hardest thing to do, because I often just...don't feel hungry and I eat cereal, a sandwich, and some huge dinner. That's my problem. I don't eat veggies or fruits much and I don't really eat regularly or "snack" like I'm supposed to.

Stupid body.

The short term goal they gave me was to lose 20 lbs. That's 10% of my body weight I guess. And, it's weird cause if I loose 20 lbs, I was still lighter 4-5 years ago in HS. So, short term goal will be 20lbs. Personal goal is to get back to Sophomore weight and that's 25 lbs. :)

So, I've been trying to preoccupy my mind lately. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It's difficult, but with friends I can do it. I did it before, I can do it now. :) It's weird though, I felt worse today than I did yesterday, but because of that I have become an elite crossword master! Okay, so I still can't complete an easy crossword without cheating; but I'm getting there!

Ewe, I didn't get up until like...3 today x_X

Okay, so yesterday I spent pretty much all of the day dragging things out of my room and the basement out to the garage sale. There were a lot of boxes downstairs that should have been emptied when we moved in. But, they were so far in the back and under other boxes; I didn't bother with it. But, this whole time I'm like "Where the eff are my sailormoon things? Where are my unicorns?!" Well, I found the box! All of my TRILLION of unicorns were inside along with Sailormoon dolls, posters, WANDS (oh fun wandtimes), Artemis plushie, and other randomness like Clow Cards and a shit-ton of MINIMONI STUFF. Haha, it was as if my elementary and middle school days jumped out of that box and punched me square in the face.

What's with all the stuff I keep finding though? It all seems to relay itself back to middle school, and what an amusing time considering Melissa (SHOULD) be coming up soonish. Lmfao. Well, I'm only selling one Sailormoon poster in the garage sale (it's from a CD I believe) but if it doesn't sell it's coming with me back upstairs because I'm a loooser. The downstairs table is FULL of my random BSSM items, unicorns, and carousels that I can't be bothered to toss away or sell. I mean I WANTED virtually everything from that box years ago, and now that I have it I don't want to part with it either.

So, I'm in one of those moods to watch some myus or old episodes. Before I know it I'm going to be saying stupid shit like, "Omg, that outfit is sooo kawaii! Hai!" or not, considering I can speak the language, I don't have to stoop down that low. Lmfao. Back off 4th grader, back off.
