Hi y'all and it has been a while! Before posting, I've found out the entry of my first signing blog still remains on the first page. This community apparently ran very slowly before this summer started.
This is my signing blog #2 here; however, really, it's #3 since I haven't showed you the vblog #2. Nothing biggie in it, just making summary of what's going on recently in life. Pardon my slight pixelated face and runny nose, lol.
Otherwise, I forgot to mention it in a video, but I'm deaf who grew up in a hearing world, communicating in a mix of ASL and Signed English, and lipreading as much as I could.
Well, after quite awhile, I have finally gotten the computer and the video camera to cooperate. This is the product (sorry it's so grainy; I blame Photobucket):
I realise I'm still signing in English word order instead of true ASL order, but I'm still working on it. I hope to get this down better. Also, note how I am seemingly unprepared and pause sometimes. LOL. Eeee. Okay.
How you find the transcript: on the side of the video, where there is the summary and subscribe button, click "More" on the summary... the transcript will appear.
I came across this community and through it was very interesting and original, so I joined.
Last year I passed my lvl 1 bsl. I was doing my lvl 2 this year, but the classes where all cancelled because none of the teachers wanted to teach on the new curriculum. I still plan on continuing my studies and maybe entering a career in interpreting.
Anyway, just though i would say hi. I look forward to all your posts :)
Ok..I'm trying to be brave about signing. You'd think after ASL 4 I'd be more comfortable but I'm still nervous about making mistakes. Please feel free to criticize me. ( Read more... )

Anyway.. my seventh vlog (I sign ASL) was recorded this morning by a very sleepy and tired me. I hope you can get past the huge bags under my eyes to actually watch the whole thing.. : P
No transcript is available at the moment for either one of those... I'm running on 4 hours of sleep and have work soon so you'll just have to manage with my weird untranslated gestures until I can get a transcript up...
I can't be arsed transcribing it, so I've written notes on what I talked about.
