A fan of Buffy Between the Lines took the opening of our first episode and made some very cool credits out of it (Youtube Video under the cut).

An inspirational message from Torley Linden.

There are a couple of reason I'm on SL, and Torley's blog has to be one of them. I follow this guy's blog religiously, learned to make sculpted prims and do all kinds of things from his tutorials, and I'm starting to pick up other skills. He's a real teacher*. Plus, he loves Drum and Bass, appreciates the color pink, and enjoys videoes wherein a pelican devours a pigeon, so he's alrwady getting bonus points with me.







* - There are teachers and there are teachers. I mean, I'm a teacher, but I think he really represents the kind of teaching style that I have done my best to emulate.

Well, I haven't written anything in a long time, and whilst I've had an idea for a TMNT fanfic for years, I've never actually put it into action until now. It's proving brilliant fun to write, and I'm in it more for the enjoyment than anything else, but it'd be nice if other people enjoy it as much as I do, so I hope you all like it too. ^^;

Still at Knox. Waiting for an appointment for female issues that I have been avoiding for the last four years. Won't go into detail.

But I have the coolest little gadget that let's me access the internet from anywhere. I was looking at getting internet for my house but since I'll never be there, this works out a lot better.

Unfortunately, with old lead based paint homes, the only place I seem to not be able to get internet is from my house. So I have to go sit out in my car to surf online.

Oh well, as long as I get access from my office.

 Do you guys ever get asked who your favorite turtle is?  I wish I could say I had a favorite.  I have to agree with Sherbetsprite in the last post.  I'm really getting to like Mikey alot.  Since I started watching the new toon, I've been able to see how the comics portrayed the tmnt to be.  He does have a heart for his family and he's not afraid to show it, at least in the toon.  I kinda like Don too because of his gentle nature and because he's a techno geek.  I dunno.  I guess I like them all for various reasons.  The old toon is great because I grew up with that one but I really enjoy how unique each of the turtles' personalities are in the new 2k3 series.  And I like the fact that they call each other brothers and that they're more of a family.  

Ok, question.  Whenever Mike says something really ridiculous in the new toon, which turtle always smacks him for it?  I'm guessing Raph?  haha!  Seems like the most logical choice.  Or does Splinter give him a little love tap every now and then with that cane of his?  So since I've never read the comics, just how similar are the guys to the bbooks?  I hope more CGI films are made because the last one really made me feel like i was experienceing the comics on the screen.  Sound and characterwise, anyway.
