WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE! Taken from paradoxx181 who pulls through every time. ♥
So the other day I was standing in the kitchen talking to gekko who was sitting at the table and I put my hands kinda up to my head in a stretch, and while my right wrist rested on my head i started to hear this whirring noise. It sounded like some sort of mechanical thing having problems, and I was like wtf and stared at my wrist even though it didn't have anything mechanical [watch] on it. I put my hands up and the noise started again, and I made gekko come over to listen. I pulled my hands away again and it stopped. Gekko said maybe I have some air in my wrist bones or something, and he lost interest in trying to figure out what it was because the noise didn't stop. Finally I pulled my wrist away from my head and the noise continued. There was a whirring mechanical noise coming from out the back of my head. I was like DUDE do I have like, air under my skin there or something? Is something wrong with the back of my head??? Gekko started to take a look and said... that I had a bug in my hair. Now I am totally cool with insects, but I have a huge fear of them, without my knowledge, being stuck in my hair or under my clothes. So now that you know that, know that upon him saying this I let out the girliest most shrieking horror movie scream imaginable. I clung onto his belly trying to get away from the bug in my hair going GETITOUTGETITOUT and he finally through my flailing was able to brush it out. It was a small round black beetle that upon my finger getting close to would make the same noise. I took it outside and let it go, but my god that was freaky. ;___;
I wonder if I can grow reishi mushrooms. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lingzhi It looks difficult.

Dear LJ, neutral on both accounts.
Dear LJ, today [4-7-08] the water aerobics class was violently interrupted when The Macarena came on the remix party CD and the instructor hopped out of the water to fully remind us all on how to do it...... "This CANNOT be happening..."
Dear LJ art project a success.
Dear LJ to have a proper fourth of July you need; booze, things to grill and shit to blow up. We were very america and so can you. It was kind of a sad party, I invited a lot of people. Ninnin picked up a shift. Rez's car sucks. David worked til 11. Megan got abducted by her father. Dan had previous arrangements. So it was just Gekko and I trying not to burn the food or ourselves. It was nice, we ate outside and he threw explosives to Sublime, Propagandhi, and Against Me!. [Which their song Joy totally was perfect.]
Dear LJ ninnin chuck gekko and I totally went to Pridefest and got the gay all over us. Missouri has aids, apparently. [Weird thing to advertise/have as a slogan, yeah?] Very fun day, shame it couldn't roll over onto another day because I had to work.
When I picked gekko up from the airport last month I wound up getting there very very early due to the swim class getting out at two and his flight arriving at 6:17... but there is apparently this outdoor "cell phone lot" at our airport that is free and even though it was le hot outside I wound up vegging there for a while... It was totally pleasant. Kind of like a good way to reflect and veg, I like going out places and doing nothing, if that makes sense. People always move too fast and have too many schedules and can't just go somewhere and sit and just take things in. So I sat there in the passenger seat in the shade and played music and had such a nice breeze going through the car that I almost felt cold a bit. Good way to start a Gekko day.
AUG FA please get back online so I can get descriptions and make a very very due ghostmoths post. AUGx2, photobucket is down too. Kami, Sunny, Crypt and Sinny.... ;D~~
Oh, and Dear LJ, Kim is totally my new girlfriend we r in love furever and our next stop is California. ♥♥♥

Recent highlights/events
My arm actually got somewhat SUNBURNED today while sitting in my car talking to Chival on the phone. Curses at being so white that I am nearly translucent. Pigmently challenged. 8C
Speaking of skin colour... I did the carrots/beta carotene for a month and a week, and my hands did get a nice tint of yellowy organeish. Same with my legs, especially noticeable while swimming. Sadly it won't really show up in photos because half the time photos seem to distort or change colours anyways, so it woulnd't really look like anything special. I would have continued but all the beta carotene under my skin was i guess making me break out a little.
Speaking of colours, the once blonde in my hair is indeed a nice shade of cool grey, I personally think it is quite awesome. Thanks to ninnin I now have a jacket of crows that matches the hair.
Ear is at a 4g, septum is at a 10g. I think i stretched the ear a bit too fast, I went from a 14 to a 6g within a month, but nothing bad happened so I didn't think much of it until I read about it later. Oops! Bodies are resilient.
I got into that water aerobics class... which you can assume mainly senor citizens take. 8) One little old lady calls me cookie, its a totally fun class. I just wonder why I am the only one to use one of the showers with curtains. *modest* n__n
Rez and I had a baby, he provided the "seed" and i incubated it. *snorts*

So I got my stimulus check a few days ago, did all you other americans get yours? I've heard nay a peep about them online, surprisingly. I figured I'd might as well ya know, use it for something dumb and superficial, so I bought some body jewelry since I've been wanting some new stuff for ages but I usually take the poor-bastard route and avoid doing so. I ordered 14 individual pieces, and one is going to ninnin... but some of it is plugs, I'm going to stretch my right ear to a 2g. For anyone curious, here's a chart, its really not that big, but its big enough for some fun plugs. :] Also I'm stretching my septum up to a 10, I've always liked slightly clunky looking septum piercings, and I can always bring any of these back down if i get tired of em. *giddyful*

I just found out something that made me super happy. Okay I'd had this lj for, forever, and its accumulated a lot of abandoned accounts watching me. I'm sorry but I'm kind of OCD about some things, and that always bugged me because I couldn't keep it tidy/organized, right? Well I just learned this tonight: Hiding a Username From Your Friend Of list... and I went and did just that. I only went through and did that to accounts that haven't had any activity in ages but if I accidentally nixed an account thats still being used please let me know and I'll fix it. :] I also put something in my lj profile about that because I'm paranoid of pissing people off without intent. I cleared away 76 known abandoned accounts and still didn't remove all of them. There were about ten from Jolyn Fergwads. >:C [♥] Also I ran/walked [...more walking than running] on the treadmill today, 1.5 miles. Aww yeah, gonna get rid of my muffin top. XD~ I was somewhat productive earlier today, I cleaned the rats cage, worked out, did some research, and watered with fertilizer all of my plants. Did nothing for the rest of the night, though. Trying to work through my limbo and making-things-better.
Also I stumbled onto this today..: Calories Burned During Sex
Possible Side Effects of Bad Sex A less-than-sunny desposition 1 calorie
Rolling Over and Going to Sleep After intercourse 18 calories During intercourse 32 calories During foreplay 12 calories Avoiding the wet spot 80 calories Ahaha what what in the butt?

So for those of you who watch the news AND know where I live, you know that there is mass flooding going on here. I woke up pretty oblivious until mom called a bunch of times freaking out asking if our basement had flooded, because with all the rain we got on Tuesday its starting to head south filling the rivers, but for us its backing up the sewers.
Mom and I tried to go up to the main highway to see what was going on. The water is supposed to crest tomorrow at 41 feet and they will have to shut down part highway 44. ( Flood photos ) So yes let's just hope when it crests we don't get our basement flooded. e__e Also I hope they haven't shut down more of 44 so I can get to work tomorrow. I was going to go help sandbag, but I didn't want to go alone and apparently david dreamed me calling him and telling him to come here. Bleh I need to go be productive. Oh, on St. Patrick's day I pinched roughly 50-something people. Most of them were complete strangers [customers] and I got away with it too! 8) Oh and I walked into the kitchen and mom was watching House and it was the episode with Joel Grey in it! I squeaked and quickly rushed to sit down, to remember as soon as I did so that I knew i didn't want to watch this episode [Ive looked into everything Joel Grey has been in *cough*] and that episode seemed super sad because he was terminally ill and shows like those I just can't watch because I get too emotionally roped in and attached to the characters so I don't really "enjoy" those types of shows for that reason and I quickly ran back out of the room. I guess I'm not desensitized enough like everyone else, it seems. He still has the sweetest most innocent smile ever. Oop... lj strike today. Well if i didnt post the photos today i would put it off indefinitely, like with posting most things. :P *edit, and with the raising water so were washed away my plans for Easter, yay for sitting home alone unless I find someone else to harass and mooch off their family gatherings since I have none. :Chearing: Stars - your ex-lover is dead

Funny how stuff goes, eh? Today was good. Actually today was very good and wonderful weather and I'm happier but we shall not articulate. I've been online less but actually social lately, funny how a break in one's little world leads to changing things around. That and I blame Simone for getting me interested in running, and it seems I might have a running partner, who also shares my love for cheap 99c bean burritos. Now to just get my fat arse into better shape, aka more exercise and less burritos. Friday will also be good, I just hope david can come out and play with ninnin and myself.
Question, if you could forcibly hold me down and make me watch a few various shows, what would you subject me to? In return, I recommend: Sifl and Olly, Metalocalypse, Fraggle Rock[duh], Upright Citizens Brigade, and Sealab to name a few. As for animes I would recommend Wolf's Rain, Ouran Highschool Host Club, and Ebichu. With a nice variety between those three. I always hear people go on about Avatar, and Im wanting to get into Scrubs. I just watched some Arrested Development today and I liked it.

Well I did what I said i was going to do and I made a friends list sweep. I always feel guilty for doing so and its dumb announcing that I did so, but I wanted to say its because I'm busy and trying not to be online as much and am having trouble keeping on top of things and nothing personal. I mainly just took off people that I have no interaction with on lj and for all i know don't even read their friends list anymore.

Happiness is... finding old episodes of Bump in the Night. n______________n
If anyone is interested I will take the time to share some of it. Actually I will probably do so anyways because it was freaking amazing, almost had a bit of a Ren and Stimpy feel, and it was all done with claymation. I've found nearly all of my favourite childrens shows, the last one is Schnookums and Meat. Nothing ever still tops Fraggle Rock. Nothing.
Ninnin and I took photos of our rabbits and I bought stuff for the car today, and I took it in because they let me take off with 17" wheels/rims when I only paid for the 16" ones. Dang there goes my street cred. And they never gave me the mats they owe me! Ninnin is such a chick, he bought like, ten things of Valentines sale chocolate, while I bought a scary "LOVE STINKS" pink and black voodoo doll of in which will stay in my car. Its really freaky looking, I love it. Plus it gave me candy. Delicious skull and bone pink black and white shaped candy.
I've been a complete toss up between really happy and rather depressed, I'll answer either at any given time and thats confusing. Right now I'm really happy, despite the confusing dreams last night of having Bauske as my boyfriend, or molesting poor Rich. HAHAHAH NOW YOU TWO ARE CURIOUS. 8) My friends mean the world to me, I'd be nothing without you people. I miss the ones I've lost, and I'm not as eloquent or open to the ones I still have. but.
I love you guys. ♥hearing: Regina Spektor - On The Radio

I uhm uhm wow so I kind of picked ninnin up from the VW dealership because he had a little something to fix on his brand new VW rabbit he bought a few weeks ago. I was like "oh haha I'll look at the cars"
and uhh uuhhhhhh
I uhm. Kind of bought a car. A new one. 2008 VW black rabbit automatic 5-cylinder.
ITS SUPER PRETTY but holy shit I've never really done anything that "big" without mom, but my old car was a POS and this one is... wow. I have a new car! I'm really in debt! Dont ask about the monthly payments! Holy Shit!
I actually lost sleep over this last night when deciding, went to bed early at 11:30, woke up again at 2:30 and COULD NOT FALL ASLEEP until 6am again, so anxious and yeah. I still feel sickish from anxiety and nervousness and excitement. Ninnin was my little muscleman, he was all like No, I think we need to drop it lower, haahhha, I could have never have gotten it [and for that price!] without him. omgomg!

There are very few times in life that absolutely downright hilarious things happen
Today one of those things happened.
Mom ninnin and I came home from going out to eat, and there was a message on the answering machine. Mom was like "Oh i bet its grama", and I start impersonating her; "Denise, are you home yet?" "Denise this is your mother, you aren't home yet???" Well this time she forgot to hang up the phone.
I demand you listen to the message.

AAAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAH What on earth were they watching?!?!?!?!
ninnin: that btw, is the best message i have ever heard on machine or voice mail. razerz: I. KNOW.

Update....
So a couple days ago i was in my room moving files around on my computer and what not and the power goes out, but only in my room. I flip the breakers, and nothing. Mom comes home and does the same... nothing. A coworkers friend came over to try and fix it and again, nothing. So we have an electrician coming over tomorrow morning to try and figure out why there is electricity in my room [all the lights in the ceiling of my room, moms and the basements are spitting out a lot of readable electricity] but nothing is working at all. So Ive been like a little refugee, living off sketchbooks and my sansa in the kitchen or guest bedroom, I finally broke down and came onto the downstairs computer now to check stuff. Watched a whole thing about Mary Pickford and something about Denmark on channel nine the other night. e___e helpme. If you've seen me on aim, thats 'cause I can use aim on my ds! Its supa cool but its hard to type with a stylus.
Ninnin came over today to hang out, we ran around and I found an electric bolt shirt at target for 3.50$ I coloured the sewn-on white electric bolt bright blue with a sharpie. We talked more about moving, mom actually suggested that we all get a house because we can make money off it when we sell it. It's an idea.
So, what is white, smells like shit, and is in a little white box? ..Give up? It was the pair of underwear I pulled out of the sanitary box at work the other night. :) No I couldnt "see" anything, but my nose told me enough.
What was almost screaming and without fingers? ..Give up? It was the little girl who's mother... I repeat, who's mother was holding her up on th table with the coffee grinders so she could reach her little hand into the grinder to push the beans down into the sharp quickly moving metal parts. Yes it was on. WTF PEOPLE. I stared at them in horror and told the lady her daughter is going to lose her fingers in a quite horrified voice, and the lady was just like like eh-shrug in a mind-your-own-business way. Eugh. Anyways, off to check like 8 pages of lj, maybe i'll have my room back tomorrow.
PS Mary Pickford is awesome[and not to mention gorgeous], public tv told me so. Plus she hung out with Charlie Chaplin.hearing: nma - orange tree roads

Happy new year and stuff!
First, have the xmas picture that has I think 78 people in it, I never really bothered to count. you're all cute fatties.
New years was cool, we shoved cloves into oranges and melted lead. [Aka made pomanders and uhh... some german fortune telling new years tradition thing.] It was me, ninnin, david, rachelle, and my mom because I am a loser and i hang out with my mom on new years. I can't wait to get my damn apartment, but anyways. I made punch and we all drank some of that. We shot off fireworks at midnight and after I hit ninnin's car twice, and then the neighbors house we decided we probably should go inside before someone comes outside. Ninnin go this free porn bloopers video and we watched some of it, it was more weird and awkward than anything funny. Got a hold of chival who was at a party with some people, one who proceeded to steal the phone and start asking what i was wearing. I told him granny panties, which did not phase him at all... e__e Around 3am we got this great idea that we should walk to the walgreens that is near my house, and in the frigid cold [and after more punch/wine] I was ready. No one really got too drunk, that and I think there was so much ginger ale and what not in the punch to dilute and hydrate enough. I guess that's good, no hangovers!
I've been tearing my room apart. 2007 was scheisse. I will make things change 2008. On that note... I don't think I'm going to be around as much. Peace. ♥

Two things...
First I've been wanting to make little music-packs for people to download, especially when i have a bunch of songs i want to share, and no patience to individually upload every single one. I'm pretty sure not everyone wants to spend an hour downloading them all individually either. A lot of this stuff is stuff i've grabbed from various collections and DTA-ing.

Second thing... The English language really needs a gender neutral term. Cant use she, cant use he, and it is too objectifying "degrading". You wouldn't refer to your cat or dog as it, and usually even if people can't tell what a pet is, [say, an ambiguous snake] people will just agree on a gender/sex to refer to it as. So what do you call something that has no speakable sex/gender, and you dont want to "degrade" it or refer to it as you would an old toaster? Do other languages have acceptable neutral-for-living-things pronouns? I know some people use the word "neut" or "newt", but i cant use Newt as i start thinking of the little girl in Aliens and then i start imagining people climbing through vents. Any ideas? What words would you use? De-objectifying pronoun creation a go go go!feeling: curious

Ill get to meet so many people too, its like a con where all the people i used to talk to/nose at in 2004 will be in one spot. I gotta make a badge [okay, i think maybe two] for chiv, and im doing one for louve, zombiekeet, ary and aya.
