• for the uninformed, which probably consists of everyone I don't talk to on a daily (or whenever i get on) basis, I ended up getting that job at the DMV, so I get to wake up early in the morning and go to vacaville 5 days a week.
  
  at least I'm not working weekends... !



• because of this job, I ended up training up in sacramento for two weeks. two weeks of hell. thankfully it's over though.



• figures, as soon as I get to the house, some fucked up shit happens. I left out for TWO DAYS and I come home to find that a bunch of my games are missing, with empty cases left behind. Great to know that ignorant negros cant leave somebodys shit alone. now it's either i find them or end up replacing them because nobody else is gonna do shit about it. lovely.



• on the subject of that, my uncle comes in while im looking through the house for said games and decides to completely not help the situation by telling me that i need to be worried about doing stuff like cleaning bathrooms or the kitchen rather than looking for something that's "ok because theyre still in the house".
  
  excuse me, but fuck you. i dont give a fuck if im getting stressed out of needlessly pissed over "something small". it's ALWAYS something small when someone else's shit goes.
  
  i can't wait until i'm out of this shithole, really. at least then i can come home knowing that my shits not going to be missing or that im going to get nagged at about something retarded that somebody else could have done.



• looking for a laptop to pick up once i get paid.. do people even still sell windows xp based ones? vista is such a silly and sluggish system, every time i've used it i've got annoyed because of load times for stupid shit like maximizing a window. i mean, it looks pretty and all but jeez.

• street fighter 4 is a stupid game. in both good and bad ways. theres some retarded looking stuff so far, but nothing blatantly broken.

• my old sprites are missing... i hate for things like this to be completely gone. it's like mementos and things you remember from your childhood, always nice to look back on stuff you had, or in my case, wasted time on.

• like Capcom vs. SNK? Watch this match. a great deviant from all the usual top tier stuff (except k-cammy at least), and entertaining to watch, even if you're not familiar with the game.

Random stuff from the past month or so...

• So, everything's been replaced but my computer. Which I have to buy with my own fucking money. Thanks a lot, family. First I get robbed by a cousin, then I ask my uncle to help replace what his fucking son stole, and he just fucking bullshits. Of course, expecting much to begin with was overdoing it to begin with, but whatever.



• Gonna be a while before I can get a new computer. Or pretty much think about it. That's honestly my first priority, and thankfully a new laptop is going to run a lot cheaper than it would have two years go. Too bad I was making more money two years ago though. Yes, it'll probably be a cheap one again, but I really don't need anything high end at all, since I'm pretty much going to be using it for internet/anime the whole time anyways. As far as recovery for said laptop goes.. I gotta pick up an external soon after I get it. A friend of mine has pretty much everything I ever used or played, so it'll cut me time to redownload software, plus I can get a ton of music back.



• Despite the sleep I get, I'm still feeling really tired lately. :(



• As far as getting a new job goes, I had an interview with the DMV out here last week, hopefully something is going to come from that, especially with how far I've come in getting the job.



• As far as the fighting game front goes, been playing a lot of Arcana/GGAC/NGBC lately. Those are pretty much all I practice. Yet I still do better in CVS2 but honestly I'm burnt out on that stupid game, the competition being the only reason I actually bother. But even that's getting boring since it's all just becoming routine. ...I really don't practice anything enough though. Hooray for dropped combos all over the place. I blame PSU.



• After watching 720p HD anime eps for the past couple of months, having to stream shit again... orz

my laptop screen is... fucked.


well, not so much the screen, it has to do with the cable inside of it, it's worn itself out pretty bad ever since I've had hinge problems from so long ago. Whenever I do so much as tilt the screen, grey lines everywhere and a flickering screen. It's still useable, but I really gotta get this fixed asap.. parts are expensive and I know what to get, but I have no clue as to how to open the laptop and I don't trust myself with it :(

Only issue is finding a technician in this area, or I might end up actually having to do it myself.

The good part at least, is that it's all still useable because I can just plug it into a monitor... at the most I'm buying a new cable and to get the hinge replaced (I can see where the broken part tore the cable.. ow).

So, there goes another check!
