*grumble*
DAMN IT I JUST LOST MY WHOLE POST.

Okay, so when I was in Florida with Lindsay back in senior year, between making fun of Star Wars and farting old ladies in velour pants suits, we wrote cinquains. For those who don't know, a cinquain is a five-line poem; the first line has two syllables, the second has four, the third has six, the fourth has eight, and the last has two again. Like so:

Never
did I think I'd
leave. But then again - you
know me - never did I think that
you'd stay.

And the way you make them interactive is that the next person takes the last two syllables of the previous cinquain and uses them for the first two of theirs. So Lindsay would write:

you'd stay
gladly enough
if i wasn't myself
and with that in mind, i'd rather
you go

And then I would write:

You go
wait for the bus
in your yellow slicker
and I watch the rain behind the
window.

And so on (theoretically ad infinitum, but we did exactly 100 and the last two syllables of that were the first two syllables of the first one (omgsoclever!1)). So I was wondering...would anyone want to do this? It's really fun, and it could either be random general stuff, or specifically Newsies (or whatever fandom we chose); I was thinking it could be first come, first serve as far as who writes the next one goes... So? Opinions? Tell!

Mmmmm, that would be fun. Though fandom poetry has always kind of boggled me. :& (By the way, I rather like the three you have here.)

(Thanks! I wrote the first and the third, but not the second.)
