dear lovely lovely friends,
i think i'm starting a new chapter in my life, and it's refreshing.
a conversation i just had:
"instead of thinking about how many people will be at your funeral, think of how many will be at your wedding"
"what wedding?"
"the wedding you'll have in 8 years"
"with who?"
"someone who loves you and can carry your baggage with one hand"
"can he carry me in the other?"
"and you and everything else in the other"
"i must be marrying super man!"
"or a good man"
"isn't that the same thing?"
i don't have to change for someone if i can find someone who will love me for what i am and everything that comes along with me. shahriyar told me that men who will love you even if you have baggage exist. he says they're called baggage carriers. i propose that we go to the airport, pronto.
