5:06 pm - Hi!
|
Although I realise it has been ages since I have posted on here, I always check here pretty regularly, so I thought it was probably time to write something here again.
I have been here in Canberra for the last 5 weeks, with 5/6 days back in Perth last weekend, working on this project over here. This is all good, but it leaves me by myself on the weekends with basically nothing to do, and not knowing anyone basically at all in this town, since my work colleagues (nearly all from Sydney) go home for the weekend. Also it is a lot colder over here, was about 16 degrees today while in perth it was 25 or so. Am also missing my hockey season being over here, I played last weekend while I was back, without having picked up a stick for 4 weeks.
So basically I haven't had much of a social life recently, working from 7-7 during the week and either working or else I am by myself on the weekends. However, it has given me a good opportunity to go exploring once again on this side of the country. I went to Sydney a few weekends ago which was really good, and considering going to Melbourne maybe next week or the week after (should I still be here). So that is good.
Have also wandered a fair bit around Canberra, which has been reasonably interesting. For instance, I saw the torch relay a week ago, and the 43 billion Chinese people who were also here following the flame. Went to parliament house, the war memorial, really good, and also up to the big telstra lookout tower up on black mountain, which has great views of the city.
However, the town itself is amazingly dead. We have walked through town (say on a Wednesday night) and struggled to see another person. There is reasonable nightlife on Thurs/Fri/Sat nights, but this is usually when i'm by myself, and still probably on slightly better than, say, Bunbury's. Amazingly.
So in all, it's been an interesting time (especially the project that i'm working on) although I would rather be at home.

7:04 pm - Geoff's Bus Adventures!
|
As I was standing at the bus stop this evening waiting for my transport to come, my ipod clicked over to Simon & Garfunkel- Homeward Bound (I Wish I Was), and I thought that was kind of appropriate.
Speaking of the bus, I just drew this: (based on a true story)

Another funny adventure happened to me last week. I was on the bus sitting there when there came a tap on my shoulder. I looked across, and it was a girl who said "Excuse me, I don't want to embarrass you, but your jumper's back to front!" I thanked her, and cheeks kind of pink, turned it around, to the humiliation of the crowd around me. The next day, the same girl got on again and I smirked to myself as she walked past me down the aisle. I was shocked to get another tap on the shoulder. It was her again. This time she said, "Excuse me, your jumper's inside out!" (it was a different jumper this day). Once more I felt the humiliation of the crowd, but I held firm. I said, "Uhh, I know, I did it deliberately today!" and didn't change it. I'm not sure she believed me. But anyway, off she got, and I was still sitting there later on when I got another tap on the shoulder. It was an older lady telling me the same thing. I responded, telling her I already knew, and we shared a bit of a laugh. However, when I got off, I went to take off my jumper and realised that it wasn't inside out after all, only the seams were on the outside giving that appearance. So I was right after all!

Just a quick reminder to self that it is indeed still Winter. If you had picked me up, spun me round and dropped me at a random day, and that this happened to be today, I would have guessed it was probably Spring/ Autumn/ maybe even Summer. 27 degrees. I even went to the beach! Ridiculous.
I've listened to so much Ricky Gervais XFM radio show recently that I can hear his laugh in my sleep. And I am beginning to dream Karl's stories.

10:57 pm - Game for Kids!
|
Just made a major breakthrough in my Project so I thought I'd come on and celebrate, although this time last week I was celebrating in a much more inebriated way. Although then I hadn't just made a breakthrough.
A game I invented (*that is, to my knowledge I invented it. If someone else previously invented it before me, and so therefore I am laying false claim to in, and possibly breaking copyright regulations, I apologise) today to pass the time was this: I went onto Wikipedia and searched for someone/something and then from that person/thing try to navigate, purely from the links in the Wikipedia article's body, to a chosen, completely random subject (preferably in the least number of steps).
For example, I set myself the task of trying to get to The Magic Pudding, from my starting point of Karl Pilkington. This one was particularly tricky, (and I won't tell you my thinking in case you copy) but I managed to do it, although I can't remember in how many steps. It was quite a few.
The fun part is, you can challenge friends from going from A to B in as little steps. There are rules you can also have (eg not clicking on Country sites, or only using links from the written part of the text, not from the tables at the bottom, etc). This game will take off in no time!
Although I am no fan of war, and don't find the deaths, especially civilians, that it brings humourous in any way, I was watching the ABC news the other night reporting on the Lebanon-Israel conflict the other night and found it a little bit funny. A table they put up was like watching a sports result. It went something like this: DEATHS LEBANON - 783 ISRAEL - 92 as if it was some sort of competition. I just found the fact they were reporting a little bit amusing, although the content certainly wasn't.

A problem that has plagued me since the dawn of time is the dilemma of shopping, namely do you hanging around waiting for just 5 cents change? This reared its head to me just this afternoon. What is the accepted thing to do in this situation? My general solution is to play around with my wallet for a while until the shopkeeper comes back with your change, when you are obliged to accept it. This avoids the problem of appearing stingy, whilst at the same time getting back the hard-earned 5c which is rightfully yours. Although just then, I didn't think the shopkeeper was coming back so I did a sort of shuffle away, trying not to look too bothered by the loss of the 5c, whilst still playing with my wallet. I had gone about a metre when he called out and gave back my 5c which I gratefully accepted.
On this same note, a few weeks ago the following happened to me, and was unsure what I should do: I went into Angus and Robertsons in the city and bought a book for $19.95. I gave the guy a $20 note, and he put the book in a bag and gave me a receipt, saying "thankyou", but he DIDN'T GIVE ME MY 5c CHANGE!! I was simply stunned, unsure what I should do. I stood there for a few seconds pondering my next move before I just got up and left. Sure 5c isn't much, but still, you can't just asuume that I don't want it and not give my change back! I was robbed, but didn't want to stand there, holding up people behind me for a tiny sum, but imagine how much they could make if they just didn't give small change back period. The criminals! I went to bed disillusioned that night.
Have been sick the last couple of days, which have been spent in the main confined to huddling up in bed. I don't like being sick, but I do like the reading which I've been doing.
I thought of this this morning: If you said to a mouse, who lived indoors, aloud, "Are you a house-mouse?" and the mouse said "Yes" then you could say "Errrr! Where are your windows then?" If the mouse said "No" then you could say "Errr! What are you then, an alien?"
Time to get back to bed I think.

3:02 pm - Hi!
|
Last week I was going through some of our old videos, and I found our old Mr Bean tapes. It was great watching him again, surely one of the best comedic characters ever invented. But, this is the thing.... After Mr Bean (this was in 1993) which I think was shown at 8 on Friday nights on the ABC, there was a Friday night movie, presented by an old guy called John Hinde. Anyway, I decided to search for this guy since I'd heard nothing since, and was wondering if indeed he was still alive, since it seemed that 13 years ago he was pretty old. But I found a few things about him, but it seemed like he was still alive. Then yesterday, less than a week after I searched, I saw on a news webpage that former ABC correspondent and film critic John Hinde had just died! That made me feel quite bad! What would you think??!
My life recently has revolved mainly around watching, and reading about, and following,..., of the world cup. Unfortunately Australia got robbed and lost to Italy, who have made it through to the final. Imagine what could have been? (Or is that just complete pure optimism?) Seriously, I think we would've beaten Ukraine and then.. well Semi finals at least.

Following up on my last entry, I found this: http://www.hollandforaustralia.com/ and thought it was quite funny.
I screamed and ran around like crazy the other day. Tim Cahill, what a gun!
I thought I was excited when this happened (and was screaming at the tv at this, then they did it again last weekend):

But that was nothing compared with Monday night.
Oh yeah, I had an exam today, but who cares about that? It's the World Cup!

The number of people who have idependently, randomly come up to me recently and complained about me not updating ever is quite interesting. For all I know no one ever reads it, judging by the number of comments I get.. not that I care...! Maybe whatever I write isn't commentable, but is hopefully commendable. So to those people out there, I dedicate this to you.
As usual, this season I've been spending lots of time, way too much time, doing my fantasy footy. In it, my major rival seems once again to be Patrick. He is top of the league and I am second*. This rivalry stems back a long way, in fact all the way back here. It is a coincidence that this entry is almost exactly 2 years ago. That time, my team was really quite bad and Patrick kept on talking his up. It so happened that we had a $10 bet as to who was going to win. That Saturday night we went out to Northbridge, and before going I did a few sums which showed me my team was way ahead, and then we were drunkenly walking down the street and I was giving him heaps and mocking him that he was going to lose. Then it he did. It was great, especially at the time. I play him again in a couple of weeks, and so that will be a bit of a grudge match again.
*I guess I should mention Baker's team as well, who is coming around... 290th (I think) out of about 180,000 people in Australia and the world who are doing it. His team beat mine, although he lost to Pat, so could quite rightlfully lay claim to a top 2 spot. As far as rivals go, though, Pat is my #1.
I got offered a job yesterday! Although, I don't know what to do. This offer seems quite good (although I am yet to see it since it hasn't reached me in the mail yet) and they want a response by Wednesday. However, I've got another job interview on Thursday, and so if I take the job, what do I do with the interview? And what if another, better offer comes along? But if I don't take it, I'm risking not getting a job at all. Either way it looks like I'm going to be working as a graduate consulting engineer in the city next year.
It actually almost makes me sick sometimes with the way I write.. with the 'howevers' and 'sinces', etc... I almost sound like an Engineer!
If you want some comic relief, check out this saga (it is hilarious!). Yes, I guess it has been a while. But yet, it doesn't feel that long. But the number of comments I always get, I'm sure no one really misses me! (Submit sympathetic sigh here) And yet, as far as life goes, I get a sense of de ja vous, a la how my journal was when it started. Here I am on the same old computer, I'm doing Honours again (but this time in Mechanical Engineering), and my brother has gone away leaving me here to fend for myself. Now I'm not one to get philosophical, but it's funny how everything seems to change but some things never do! I'm almost killing myself now out of corniness.
There is one thing I'm going to say about the Dockers' game today... they were absolutely robbed! (That is, if the AFL doesn't have any sense and not reverse the decision at the end, which I very much doubt they'll do.) At least my Eagles keep on choogling along!
I have a list of pet hates. However, I'm not going list them here. (Let downs is one)
Oh yeah, of all the movies that I have seen recently, the World's Fastest Indian hardly seems like one I would go out of my way to endorse. But it, was beautifully done, almost perfect. I recommend the movie very highly, would even go so far as to say my movie of the year. Excellent.
During the week before the Easter break, I was conscripted to go into the Central Law Courts in the City to attend Jury Duty. I went in on the Monday with the hope that I wouldn't get selected, although thinking that it could be interesting if I was, and that I would get to go home/to uni before very long. It was about 8am that I arrived and was ushered into this big waiting room, where there were, I think, 350 people, all in the same position that I was. I was given a little card with the number 781 on it, and that was the number they would call out for the case that you were selected on (that is to protect your anonymity). After about 2 hours of doing nothing but sitting around in the room, reading the paper and making idle chat with the people around, they started calling out numbers. Eventually, my number was called up (everyone there gets called, so no one misses out!) and our little group of 30 or so piled into this court room, where there prosecution and defence lawyers were all waiting; this is when it started feeling serious! Before long, the judge came in, as did the accused, who was up for the manufacture of methyl amphetamines (I hope I'm allowed to talk about that!), and he pleaded Not Guilty. That is when they needed to call up the jury. So the court clerk started calling out numbers at random to form the jury. Mine wasn't one of them , so it was tinged with some relief that I moved back to the waiting room, this time for only(!) an hour or so. Eventually, my number was called up again, and we formed outside to be told that we were required back on Wednesday for a 2 day case that was starting then. I thought- 2 days, that's not so bad, even if I get on, cause there was a 40 day trial scheduled!
So once more I went back on Wednesday, hoping for a quick day. However, this time 781 was called up to join the jury, and up I got, feeling like a bit of a gimp actually, expecting at any time to be challenged by a lawyer. However, it didn't happen and down I sat. Once we were all assembled, we each had to read the oath, and the jury was formed.
** Actually on this case 2 people were challenged by the lawyers (for whatever reason they don't have to say), just as they were about to read out the oath. So they had to sit down, and were replaced. On the first jury, on Monday, only 1 person, a woman on crutches, the last one called up, was challenged. Some Asian guy got called up on Wednesday after his name was read and said "Excuser-me I no speaka much English" and the (lady) judge made a joke and excused him. That was quite funny at the time. There was an even funnier story though. There were 13 of us who sat on the jury for the whole case, but onle 12 got to deliberate (1 was there in case of illness, failure to turn up, etc). About 5 minutes before the 12 got randomly chosen, the judge told this one young guy on the jury to make sure he wasn't asleep. Sure enough, 5 minutes later, he was the one who missed out! Well, it was funny if you were there**
Although I won't go into the case here (this entry would be about 493 pages if I did), it was a Grevious Bodily Harm case, based almost purely on circumstantial evidence. It was pretty clear to me at the end, after the lawyers had summed up, and the judge had given had given her spiel that, based on the evidence, you could not possibly summise that the only possible conclusion you could make was that he was guilty, and therefore you had to give him Not Guilty. 9 others agreed with me; however 1 thought he was Guilty, and another was unsure. So there we were, in the room on the Thursday afternoon before Good Friday, in deadlock. All I could think about were the rows of traffic building up on the road to Bunbury (which I was meant to make that day). After what seemed like an eternity, eventually common sense prevailed, I had a high five with someone else on the jury, and the guy was Not Guilty. And that was that.
Then, I bussed it home, and the group concensus with Mum & Mike was to go back home that night for Easter, I was to drive. So drive I did, and down to Bunbury we went. Every day I did a big trek in the Maiden's Reserve, actually, it was more like hiking without the clothes, the bag, the equipment,... Let's just say I did some rugged bush bashing in my board shorts, trying to go from high peak to high peak in the sand hills. There were some spectuacular views; it is quite funny, it seems like utter wilderness next to the beach, but then you are actually surrounded by Bunbury. I saw 3 kangaroos the first time I went, and then 7 on the second time; I didn't know there were kangaroos in like the middle of Bunbury! So that was good. Dad and I got the pitching wedges out and had a chipping competition, which I won. However, the next morning we went down to the beach for a spot of fishing, and he caught 3 herring to my 1 blowfish, so he won that! I did catch some bigger fish (herring I think) but they got off my hook just as I'd got them to shore. It's true!
Well, one would think that one who has written so little would have a lot to say (and really I haven't talked about much). But that doesn't seem to be the case. I could rack my brains and talk about my cricket season, or talk about how many times I went out during the season (which was a lot) and what good times they were. Actually maybe I will write about that. Or I could talk about the x million hours I have spent in the last few weeks marking, and working on projects/assignments and thesis. Or talk about all the job applications I have been making recently. Or other things; sex, drugs & rock n roll. But nothing seems really relevant, nor interesting at this time. So maybe I will stop there. Sorry to disappoint!

8:34 am - Man Gave Names To All The Animals
|
You know it's hot when you decide to merely have a cold shower, but the heat has warmed the cold water up to make it feel like you're having a normal shower anyway. Or if you're comfortable in your air conditioned room, walk outside and immediately the heat hits you. Well both of those happened to me yesterday/this morning. And yesterday I played golf in the heat of the day, then had cricket training in the afternoon when it is just as hot. Especially when some idiot decides to do 7 laps of the oval before training. Shear lunacy, maybe I should be in an asylum.
Well on Saturday afternoon I had to leave cricket early (we were getting spanked anyway!) to make the big drive down to Bunbury for Ash & Alexia's wedding. In fact, since the wedding itself was at 3 I was no chance of making it, but I could make it to the reception, the non-boring part of the wedding, instead, which I did. So with that I got to visit m&d's new house in Bunno, complete with cat. So that was nice. Unfortunately I had to drive to the reception, since it was in Boyanup, a good 20-25 kms out of town. So from then on I celebrated and danced the night away. And danced well, too.
Oh, while I'm on about celebrations... Happy 2nd Journal Birthday osborg!! (Well for Feb the 8th anyway) That's actually quite sad that I'm already 2 years older now than I was then.
Oh yeah. At the 21st I went to last week, I was lining up for the toilet with some girl who I was having a random sort of conversation with. So anyway, she knew I was next up at the toilet after her. However, I get into the toilet and what do I find...? The toilet seat is down!!! The cheek! How many times do we get told to put the seat down when there are girls around? Well surely that should work the other way too! And who said that feminism hasn't gone far enough? The hypocrites! And to top it all off on Friday I was in another toilet, and in it was a painting thing on the wall. It was a picture of a duck, sitting down but sort of falling into the toilet, with the caption "If god had wanted the toilet seat down, he would have made us with webbed feet" (or something like that). I rest my case.

4:18 pm - Bad Day
|
As mentioned in my last article, I've been doing these shopping centre stalls for tiny tots tennis. Today I was at Gwelup. I worked hard from 10-3, trying to sign up as many names as possible. Then on the way home, got a text message. I was stopped at a red light and I checked it. Two policemen on motorbikes then came up beside me, saw me reading my phone, pulled me over and fined me $100 and 1 demerit point.
The sad thing is I didn't even earn that much today. So I'm down on the day, would've been better off staying at home.

9:49 pm - How's the Serenity?
|
Let me set out the scene. Last Thursday was a cool day, at least, as far as a summer day goes. It was humid, drizzling with constant rain and I was lounging indoors, with no idea at all what to make of the day, since it certainly didn't seem like a day to be outside. It was then that I received a message on my phone asking if I wanted to go to the beach, possibly for a run. My first reaction was something akin to "are you serious?? It's raining!" but on second thoughts I warmed to the idea, since I had been searching for a running partner for a while. So we went down to city beach (decided for a change from cottesloe), and left our towels and shirts in the car, since they would get wet in the rain, and set off. The ocean was calm, broken by only the occasional ripple and the patter of rain drops on the water's surface. The temperature was ideal for running, and the constant flow of drizzle the ideal foil for the raising body temperatures, and not slowing us down at all since we were only wearing our boardies, which were getting wet from running next to the ocean anyway. The conditions were perfect, and the run proved to be serene. We set off, and felt so good that before long we were setting ourselves on running all the way to Scarborough beach, where we had a halfway swim. On the way we had already stumbled on a loot of 3 "ordinary" tennis balls, 1 tennis ball half covered in tape to be a "swing ball" and a cricket ball (which was damp and got ditched). Before I knew it, we were back at the start, having covered some 10-12kms in about an hour. There is just something so peaceful about runnning, something so rhythmic. We were drenched, but I was happy; the day had seemed so perfect (which, I might add I had mentally thought which lead to the Lou Reed song being stuck in my head for a majority of the run). I actually mentally wrote this LJ article running on the way home, but I'm sure that what was in my head then is way better than what I am writing here, oh well.
The best part of the day ended there, since Chris the Pom nearly crashed twice driving on the way home. And then Lleyton Hewitt lost in the Sydney International from an unlosable situation. I think he's losing the ability to finish his opponents off. And my word, he nearly gave me another heart attack yesterday.
So yeah, I was surprised that this is the first time I've updated since, when was it? September? I certainly didn't intend it to be like this, merely accident rather than design. But I'm here now aren't I?!
* At the moment I have virtually nil money. As a result, I've been working at a tiny tots tennis stall at Kingsway shopping centre for the last 3 days. Yesterday I went for an hour sitting there at the stall in the middle of the walkway, just outside Big W, without any kiddies coming in and having a hit or any parents enquiring about the ttt. Then, at other times, I am overflowing with kids, like 15 at a time. Funny sort of job. But I still have no money. Working on Friday in Innaloo doing the same thing and on Monday somewhere.
*Last Wednesday, at cricket training, we were doing a drill where basically you and a partner stand about 30m apart with baseball mitts and you throw a cricket ball to each other. Doing this, I went to catch a ball with mitt, closed the glove too early and it ricocheted onto my mouth. I'm actually really glad no real damage was done since my teeth are fine, but I must have bitten down onto my tongue (which is always hanging out) and put a pretty big dent in it, and it's still pretty sore now.
*Hardly been out at all really in 2006, haven't even been to clubba this year yet. Did have a big NYE, however, and did get a new year's kiss. But then she told me that she had a 10 month old daughter and I kind of freaked out, although I tried to make it look like I didn't care, which is probably worse. Funny stuff.
*Cricket. You win some, you lose some, with the odd draw. That just about sums up our season so far- we're still in finals contention, with a big chance of a win this weekend- so good. My batting- topsy turvy. Plus I feel like I've almost lost the ability to field for some reason.
That'll do for now, I wish I was out tonight.

5:00 pm - Hello!
|
Something that was not so funny yesterday was so infuriating that I laughed and couldn't stop. You see, twice a week I hop in the car and journey up past Innaloo to the tennis courts at Lake Gwelup where I coach the tiny tots tennis, and have been doing so virtually all year. I have got the journey down like a well-drilled machine, knowing all the shortcuts, which lane to be in at what time, and so on. It takes me a pretty consistent 25 minutes to get there, with 17 sets of traffic lights (I counted) on the way. Anyway, my mum rang just as I was leaving and so I was running a little bit late and tried to push things on a little bit. However, before long, the first traffic light (very annoyingly) held me for a few minutes, which seemed like 10. I was then further frustrated as I was behind a car doing about 40, and the car in the other lane was going even slower. I got past that little hurdle, only to be confronted with another red light. To cut a long story short, the first 15 traffic lights were all red when I got there, including one which is NEVER red! I mean, that is the first time I've seen it red all bloody year! The icing on the cake was when the 14th light (I think) was green for ages, as I was driving up towards it. In my mind I predicted it would turn red just as I was getting there, and when it did, I just laughed. Now- a 25min journey took 40mins. 160% longer than usual! Surely that is freakish?
Am I cursed?
I had my first glimpse of summer on Monday for a while. You know why? What did I do? I went to the beach! It was good too.
Come on Eagles this weekend! ______________________________ I also bought a custard apple today. It was outstanding, I can't remember the last time I had one, but I always used to bug mum or granny to buy one for me. Custard Apples, hey.

G'day lads & ladies
I'm sorry about, when was it, last week, with my update promise, but busyness and general business got in the way. I don't know if I've enjoyed watching this Ashes series or not, but I have watched most of the series, staying up and watching it to the death all the time. As I type, we look in pretty big trouble, 8/363 and wickets falling down like lumber. If England are swinging the ball like this, then hopefully we can too. Well, McGrath's out now as well (batting a number 10!). I don't know what I'll do if we lose the Ashes, although hari kari did come to mind.
I have had a fair deal of work on recently, as proved by the non-journal update. Apart from this though I have had a number of escapdes... 1. Well a couple of weeks now, I had my first ever new University Club experience. It was a Sport & Rec Association dinner or something, and our cricket club had a table which I got to go to since I'm on the committee! And since they subsidised it all, 3 course meal, wine, wine, more wine, auction,... all for free. Actually, the auction wasn't free. How funny would that be?!
But, oh, there was a hilarious little side show that night. They had a raffle, and first, third prize was drawn and some guy on the table next to us won. Second prize was drawn, he had the winning ticket again, but he said, nah draw it again. So they drew it again, and HE WON AGAIN! So they redrew second prize once more and someone else won. First prize, and he won again (and I think he took it- who would blame him). I blame the raffle people for not mixing the tickets up enough, but still, that was ridiculously lucky. I made a bid for one auction piece (I can't remember what it was- but it was the last one drawn, since I wanted to make one bid for something). I got jolly drunk on all the wine, that's for sure.
2. Ok well next, I'll go for Friday night, the one just gone. Having had a lab in the arvo (or, as you could say, in the P.M.) we had a happy hour drinks at the tav, as we always seem to do. I think I left my bag, dad, at the tav (I didn't leave my bag, dad, in Baghdad) and consequently have not been able to do any work this weekend. Anyway, after that, and a bit to eat, we went to a quiz night, also at the Tav. The quiz was for the UPS, and although we arrived late and missed virtually the whole first round, with 2 former UPS presidents on the table, they gave us 6 out of 10. We also got totally shafted for our Mr Squiggle picture, which was obviously the best. But, the last round they decided would be to have a heads or tails game, and the winner's table got 10 extra bonus points. Steve was the last one standing for our table, when he too 'should have' sat down as well, but I told him to remain standing, as noone would notice. He did, and ended up winning, and so we got the 10 extra points, and scraped into second place, winning a bottle of wine each. The moral: Cheat. It gets you places.
Yeah, damn, I thought I might have more to write about, or that it would be more interesting, or both. Have been going out on the weekends, Northbridge. Get back about 4ish, and then get to cricket for 11am fielding and running sessions the next day. That's fun! Did the city to surf in the pouring rain. Would like to have done 2-3 minutes faster, but pretty happy overall. Movies on Sundays, saw Charlie & the Chocolate Factory today.
Damn. Got an English wicket- Strauss, but just gone off to bad light again! NO!

Hi ho! How are ya??
If I finish all my marking, I might actually do an update. A REAL update. By jove, it's been such a long time since my big fingers typed one of those, I can hardly even remember doing one.
I'll give you a bit of a 'teaser' though. Word for the day: Iota Cause if you say the word "iota", someone can then say to you: "You ot (sounds like oat) a what?"
That, AND MORE, coming up later- maybe.
