Friday I took one of the Japanese exchange students down town for the semi-annual Art Walk in town. The one thing he notice was all the salmon art. I guess we do have a thing about them here in the NorthWest.
Saturday Rayn and I went to Seattle for the first NorthWest Tea Festival. Celestial unfortunately could not make it, but we'll have to take her out in the near future. I was in heaven of course. It was great. I might have to volunteer next year. I guess I ended up on the news, but I couldn't find it online the next day. Nothing from the three stations about the festival. Oh well.

Okay so it's still 16-months away, but I realized I want a birthday party! Is that such a bad thing? Now here's the thing I want as many people as possible to have fun so here is what I'm thinking. Either have a party in late July or early August out here, or have everyone join me in Vegas in May for my Birthday.
So, would people be willing to come out and play with me. Which place you wanna come? 2009 might have changes, but it's never too early to plan.

Silly!
Well I voted today. Yay? Actually there were a few things on the ballot I had a strong opinion on, so it was a good thing.
Halloween was fun, now time to plan for Thanksgiving and other holidays.
I think I'll do a bit of cleaning at my house instead of my parents for a change this weekend.
It has been determined during a phone call with Kei'tal tonight that my totem animal is a heggie.

'sow-in' (in Ireland), or 'sow-een' (in Wales), or 'sav-en' (in Scotland), but NOT 'sam-hane' (in the U.S., where they don't speak Gaelic) means literally "summer's end."
Funny when you ask google to define something you get some odd results:
1. jack-o-lantern fungus: a large poisonous agaric with orange caps and narrow clustered stalks; the gills are luminescent
2. "Jack O' Lantern" is also an archaic name for a Will o' the wisp.

So today I thanked the Floral Gods for preventing a near floor kissing incident and that got me thinking, who would the Floral Gods be. Gods of Horticulture and the Arts I'm sure, but who?
