today, 18 years ago on march 14th, 1987 no doubt played it`s 1st official performance in fender's ballroom in long beach california. the orginal bandmembers eric stefani, john spence & gwen stefani played ska covers from madness & the selecter & more. tony kanal was in the audience & joined no doubt soon after.

Dear People,

I would truly appreciate it if you would stop dying. Celebrities especially, since it tends to be over-published to an extreme point. But in general, these past couple of montsh seems to be a prime time for people to die. Not that I have anything against death, just that it gets very depressing when everyone around you starts dropping like flies. Like in a horror movie.

Today I have decided to write this plea due to the recent death of Marlon Brando. This is really a very shallow last straw because I'm only sad because he was extremely good looking when he was young.

Now I'm not saying that there aren't any people I would appreciate dead, but it seems that they aren't being picked as the ones that are getting taken in recent months.

Thank you for listening. I truly and honestly appreciate the fact that if you have reached this, you are alive, and I won't read your obituary in the paper tomorrow.
