Yeah, so I know CNY is on Thurs. But I might be busy between now and then, so I thought posting this now was a good a time as any.

In other news. I've finally gotten around to watching Juno, which was really neat and oh how I love Ellen Page, and the final episodes of Dr. Who, which made me laugh like mad. The Master is just filled with crack and psychopathic awesomeness.

Also, I might be going on a semi-hiatus for a bit. Which really just means that I'll be on here less often than usual and not spam your flist with random nonsense. :D

haha. Due to some horrible mix up (or really, just me remembering dates wrongly), I didn't realise that Cosfest was THIS SUNDAY. Liek, zomg. I thought it was a couple of weeks away. O.o

I'm so sad, because I'll probably be going alone this year. WOE.

Our Jap Club was supposed to go, but we suck and no one's arranged anything.

And JC will be overseas by then, so I'll have no one to drag along with me. And I'm not cosplaying, so I don't really have any plans to meet anyone there. :x

I did 33 sit-ups today! HAHAHA. Ok, I know that compared to others, that's not a lot, but for me, The Girl Who Cannot Do Sit-ups, that's already an achievement! And I hadn't practised in ages, so I was really surprised when I managed to do it. I think it's the FIRST TIME EVER that I've gotten an A for sit-ups. :DD FINALLY, I no longer feel like the only person on Earth who can't get an A for that stupid exercise.

I also did 19 pull-ups! I can't remember if I've ever gotten an A for pull-ups before (maybe 2 years ago?) and so it really shocked me today when I managed to reach 17 and realised that I wasn't tired. Since I only needed to do 18 to get an A, I decided to just stop at 19.

Ok, I feel quite proud of myself because I am uber unfit and hardly exercise. I didn't even practice pull-ups and sit-ups before the test today and I was so sure I was gonna fail. So I went home and stuffed myself with Ben and Jerry's.

(You know, in the past month, my family and I have consumed 8 TUBS of B&J's? HAHAHA. Oops, I'd better watch my weight. :x)

I've just realised that I love using my Pride and Prejudice icons. They're nothing special, and it's not like they've ever won anything, but I just always find myself clicking on them. Keira must be very alluring.

On another note, I've decided that if I was a superhero, there's no way I'd be called something with my gender in it. You know, like Hawkgirl and Hawkboy. Batman, Batgirl. Superman, Supergirl.

Don't you think that names like 'Nightwing', which is sans a mention of the person's gender, are so much cooler? The Flash. Green Lantern (granted, when I first heard that name, I was all, 'so what does he do, shine a light at people?? -_-'). But yeah, you get what I mean. This is why I think the X-men have cooler names, like Wolverine, Rogue, Shadowcat.

Anyway. I just finished The Books of Magic by Neil Gaiman today. 'Twas a very lovely-freaky read. It makes me wanna go get the John Constantine graphic novels, because he's the coolest thing since sliced bread. :DD

Now, I shall indulge in some chick lit, of the Shopaholic and Baby variety. Then I swear I'll get back to Hannibal. :x He's the coolest thing since sliced human flesh. Ha.

Why have so many people I know IRL moved to eljay suddenly? Haha, ok, it's not a lot, but it just seems like it.

Jap Club JTS tomorrow. Hope it's fun. I just realised that our Jap club does a lot of inter-school stuff, like with TP and RJ and all. I should coerce some people I know who are studying at TP or RJ to join so we can meet up and I won't feel so sad that I don't know anybody. XDDD *hinthint* Though I heard the RJC peeps never go to the meetings. Haha.

Um. I love the name but I hate chimpanzees. HAHAHA. :x How in the world am I like a chimpanzee? I've always wanted a cuddly dæmon, though. I mean, if you had a snake, you couldn't let it sleep in your bed and stuff. XD Smaller dæmons are also better, because they're more portable. I'd love for my dæmon to be able to sit on my shoulder. :DD

I wonder how far the stretching distance between the human and dæmon is. If you're not a witch, I mean. I've kind of forgotten.

I need to do my lit essay now. Le sigh.

3) Watch my back as we kick the asses of demons and psycho humans. Or rescue me from said psycho humans when I'm kidnapped. (And make speeches like, "If you touch my brother, I'll kill you.") ♥

No prizes for guessing who the above sets of siblings are. (Though no. 3 is a little sketchy, if you don't know what show I watch on FRIDAYS at 10. XDD)

Lots of exciting things coming up for me! I'm watching PHANTOM OF THE OPERA this weekend! *bounces* I am uber excited.

Going to be watching KING LEAR some time in May or something, too. Yes, the one with Sir Ian of the McKellen variety. (:

And I'm going for PLAY! with Houkai and Ash. If they play One Winged Angel, I swear, I'm gonna burst out laughing. I've always found that song rather funny. Maybe because I like to laugh at Sephiroth. Whatevs. I want them to play the theme songs, and not just the background music.

Oh wait, I've found the 2006 program here at Wiki. WAHAHAHA, check out track number 17. XDD (There's gonna be a choir there. Can you imagine all of them chanting 'Sephiroth'? HAHA.) And I knew they'd have Aerith's Theme, I KNEW IT. XD

I doubt S'pore will get the same list of songs, though. I heard we're only getting FF, Elder Scrolls, Warcraft and Sonic. :x Damn, I want Kingdom Hearts.

I hope they play Kiss Me Goodbye and screen some lovely, melancholy game footage. I wouldn't even mind Eyes On Me. I want them to play that cutscene of Squall and Rin dancing and Squall giving his WTF-face. HAHAHAHA. You know what I mean. >DD

Oops. I'm supposed to be doing PI. In fact, I'm dreadfully busy and behind on tutorials and all. But I'm blogging istead because I'm a terribly lazy girl.

Anyhow.

What does your mental voice sound like?

Mine is totally devoid of a Singaporean accent, and tends to sound American-ish. Unless I've just finished reading Great Expectations-- then it's British. (Did you know that when I blog, I tend to pronounce some select words in a British way for absolutely no reason at all?)

No, I'm serious. My mental!me has no 'lah's, or 'meh's. All of that just comes out when I physically speak. When I talk to myself, I have an accent. Isn't that totally weird?

I've just kind of realised all this, because of something Jan said to me today. Hm.
Does this make me a weirdo? Or just a very easily-influenced individual? :x OMG, I'm a freak, aren't I?

You know, when I was speed-reading GE, I started dreaming in that kind of old British slang they had? (Mainly because I fell alseep whilst reading the book a lot.) THEN, I started actually SPEAKING in that fashion. Yes, using their kind of flowery sentence structure! o.o

I don't think I creeped anyone out, because my parents are used to me suddenly launching into weird accents and ways of speaking and things. Luckily, by Monday, the accent had totally fled me and I sounded normal again when I spoke. Argh. I really can't help it sometimes!

It totally traumatised me as a kid, because I thought the grandfather-dying bit was really morbid and sad and scary. I felt so bad for the clock too. ): I mean, ok, maybe it doesn't seem so sad now, but as a child, it was really depressing! What kind of songs were they teaching kids to sing, man!

Anyway. I'm only thinking of the song now because we sang the Japanese Hirai Ken version in Jap Club today.

Yay, there was no school today! How wonderful.

I think people who suddenly start to like Mr Chan because he gave us a day off are horrible. I mean, that's so superficial of them. Firstly, he practically HAD to give us one or face hatred from the student population as it's kind of a tradition. Like Mrs Chan said last year, when people see our students walking around in the morning, they know that our school did well. It's free advertising and even the public is watching out for it!

Besides, Mr Chan's a really nice guy, no matter how long-winded his speeches can get. Some people are just not fantastic speakers or even teachers, but they have really good characters. I can name 2 off the top of my head right now, but I shan't because it's kind of mean. :x

Went to Delifrance with JY, Marge and Daryl. (: We had a good time gossiping laughing away and eating wonderful French toast with sausages, scrambled eggs and Lipton tea. I love toast so very much. ♥ Remember that what is said between us STAYS BETWEEN US. Capiche? </mafiaboss> XDDD

Hung out with Daryl after that in the v11 classroom (which the juniors have upkept so very nicely!) and he taught me how to play gin, after which he totally trashed me. HAHA. RQ joined us later and we just listened to music and stuff. :D Yay, someone else in the world likes the same annoying songs as I do! (Read: Hips Don't Lie and Sexy Back)

Went to Parliament House after that to watch them debate over the budget. It was pretty cool. We had to go through security checks so many times and then BOW to the Speaker whenever we entered or left a room and when the ministers stopped for a break.

It was so awesome, they brought in the mace and everything. :D OK, I'M VERY EASILY INTRIGUED. But really, there's a lot of protocol and stuff that piqued my interest.

The ministers are like celebrities, you know. HAHAHA. Our guide was telling us not to wave at them and stuff like that. XDD And she kept on announcing who had stepped into the room, like 'Now, Mr Goh Chok Tong has entered'. So cool right?

RQ and Wing totally fell asleep, I think. And I might have dozed off a little, too. XDD I ended up doodling on my paper and writing little random words that I picked up from their speeches. >D So at least I was half-listening!

OMG, I've finally figured out what 'orz' is! HAHAHAHA. Yes, I've finally gone to Wiki it. :D I seriously cannot see the shape in it! Neither can I see the shape in OTL, for that matter. Is OTL a sitting down one?

Oh well. I have terrible powers of visualisation. Today as I was doing my physics tut, I was all, "OMG, how in the world can he throw the stone at that angle? :O It's not physically possible!" This is why my Physics fails terribly. *sadface*

We had no lessons today for SIX PERIODS. D: We were supposed to have econs, but Mr Ueng was nice and sent us to the canteen instead, with the instructions to just grab whatever ice-cream we wanted. I was kinda shocked, because I didn't expect him to buy ice-cream for us, especially after we were bargaining with him not to have lessons. I guess he was amused by the guys' antics. XDDD

Thus, with all my spare time, I did not do anything productive at all and instead camwhored with Ale and Weish. XDD I wanted to post pics, but I'm too lazy right now. HAHAHA. Maybe in the next post or something.

This is cool. If you like House, that is. Makes me wish I had a whole lot of money and bike riding skills.

I'm going off to remove myself from some communities now. I never knew I was in so many! I hardly ever read half of them. :O

Do any of you dream in black and white?

I never really thought about it until my friend and I were talking the other day and she said that studies show that people who dream in colour are more creative. And I was all, "Who dreams in black and white? D:" Apparantly, lots of people do, and most of them don't even realise that there are colourful dreams!

So, yeah. What a wonderful world. :D

If they start playing Prison Break S2 on Thursdays, I will have something to watch every weekday night! :D Hahaha. I'm so gonna fail this year from watching too much TV.

I am happy about the winner of ANTM Cycle 7! :D Yaaay. She's one of the girls I said I liked from the first ep.

I think contestants who take part in ANTM and then refuse to pose nude are DUMB. *rolls eyes* I mean, there has been like what, at least one nude photoshoot per season so far? They should be expecting it already! And when they become a pro models, they'll be expected to change in font of others anyway. If they don't wanna do so, then they shouldn't take part. Geez. It's so stupid to be kicked off the show for a reason like that. :x

Just watched the Supernatural gag reel and Day in the Life of Jared and Jensen today. :DD OMG, they are a million shades of adorable! ♥ Gah. I must now make Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles icons. XDDD

I love watching behind the scenes footage. It has made me totally unafraid of the show. Hahaha.
