The top five priorities are marked as such, but they are subject to change at any time and without warning. Pictures based on my stories are always welcome, no need to ask permission. I will ask if I can post them on my website along with the stories, with credit to the artist of course. Sadly my schedule is packed enough that I can no longer offer request fic in return for every picture that is drawn for me, but every one is treasured. TO DO LIST:Equivalent Trade or other obligation: 2) Jaren & Kale story for next bb_shousetsu issue - Lavi/Allen for takaya_san3) Snowflake for Twilight Rising In Progress:1) Foresight Is 20/20 - Kanda/Lavi - First script for Yaoi Press - 2008 NaNovel: Defying Destiny - 1st draft - 2006 NaNovel: For the Sake of Honour - 1st draft - 2005 NaNovel: On Wings of Madness - 2nd draft - 2004 NaNovel: Who Guards the Guardian - 1st draft To Be Written:5) Snowflake for new novel - Snowflake for 'On Wings of Madness' ( Things To Keep In Mind )

Okay, after much struggling and swearing over the outline for this damned story, I've finally realized what my problem is. I need to stop trying to follow the outline. >.< It's deviated too far, and it's not just going to be nicely wrapped up in a few more chapters anymore. Not if I want the relationship between Lavi and Kanda to be anything other than ridiculously forced, anyway. So, I'm throwing it out the window and writing completely by the seat of my pants for the first time in almost two years. I used to be a strictly organic writer, but after I discovered the Snowflake Method I've always at least had a vague structure and known what my three disasters were going to be. >.< So... we'll see how this goes. School is getting crazy, of course, which means I'll have less time to write, but at the very least I hope to have this story finished before the end of the year. Hopefully sooner, but that's my concrete goal. Have patience with me. I have no idea where I'm going, but I'll get there eventually. *sweatdrops* Title: Foresight Is 20/20 Series: D.Gray-man Pairing: Kanda/Lavi Rating: NC-17 Warnings: violence, angst, yaoi, swearing, the usual Chapter length: 4083 Total length: 38,863 Forewarned may be fore-armed, but sometimes knowing in advance isn't everything it's cracked up to be. ( Kanda hated pointless arguments - especially when he knew in his heart the other person was right. )

AAARGH. This story is driving me crazy. I've never had to make so many major revisions to a plot before, but it just will not cooperate. I only hope it turns out okay in the end, and doesn't seem forced. >.< It has now changed so incredibly much from its first outline that I'm honestly not even sure how it's going to end, because it certainly can't end the way it was originally supposed to. *grumbles about stubborn muses* Title: Foresight Is 20/20 Series: D.Gray-man Pairing: Kanda/Lavi Rating: NC-17 Warnings: violence, angst, yaoi, swearing, the usual Chapter length: 4070 Total length: 34,780 Forewarned may be fore-armed, but sometimes knowing in advance isn't everything it's cracked up to be. ( It's not like I just stood there and let him cut me up, y'know. )

Argh, sorry for taking so long with this chapter, guys. I was really stuck on it, and in the end I had to go back and watch the relevant episodes again, only to discover that I'd completely mucked up part of what I thought was the timeline and had to rewrite everything AGAIN. Anyway, this is where things start diverging from the timeline as they happened in the anime as Lavi starts having fun with his new powers. *grins evilly* Title: Foresight Is 20/20 Series: D.Gray-man Pairing: Kanda/Lavi Rating: NC-17 Warnings: violence, angst, yaoi, swearing, the usual Chapter length: 3959 Total length: 30,710 Forewarned may be fore-armed, but sometimes knowing in advance isn't everything it's cracked up to be. ( Close on the heels of that thought was the realization that if he was still alive, he had much more important things to be doing than lying around like a useless lump. )

Persona 3 is an evil, corrupting game and should not be allowed in the home of anyone who considers themselves a writer. Except mine. *clings to her copy defensively* Title: Foresight Is 20/20 Series: D.Gray-man Pairing: Kanda/Lavi Rating: NC-17 Warnings: violence, angst, yaoi, swearing, the usual Chapter length: 4408 Total length: 17,791 Forewarned may be fore-armed, but sometimes knowing in advance isn't everything it's cracked up to be. This chapter is slightly not work-safe( Lemme tell you, a town full of Akuma make lousy company. )

Wow, my first attempt to write this chapter ended up turning this into a Lavi/Lenalee instead of Kanda/Lavi. I sort of poked at it a bit, sent it to my beta in despair, and she agreed. So I rewrote most of it. >.< Don't ask what the muse was on, I have no idea. For a minute there I honestly thought I was going to have to take down the first two chapters and redo the whole thing as a het story. *sweatdrops* Title: Foresight Is 20/20 Series: D.Gray-man Pairing: Kanda/Lavi Rating: NC-17 Warnings: violence, angst, yaoi, swearing, the usual Chapter length: 3326 Total length: 10,093 Forewarned may be fore-armed, but sometimes knowing in advance isn't everything it's cracked up to be. ( He wasn't sure just what he was expecting. Maybe for one of the books to start glowing or otherwise jump out at him as the one he wanted. )

After three and a half weeks of working 10-12 hours/day, 7 days a week, I finally had a week off. So what did I do? Stared at blank documents and failed to come up with any inspiration for a story of any kind. Played lots of Suikoden. FINALLY started to work on an update for my website, now two years out of date. Read my old stories over and over, hoping to spark ideas. So of course, the day before I go back to work for another three or four weeks, I get blindsided by a great idea. *sighs* C'est la vie. Or C'est Lavi, in this case. Hahaha finally no manga spoiler warnings, because the anime has now caught up to exactly the last thing I read in the manga. Now I'm as clueless as everyone else. Title: Foresight Is 20/20 Series: D.Gray-man Pairing: Kanda/Lavi Rating: NC-17 Warnings: violence, angst, yaoi, swearing, the usual Chapter length: 3092 Total length: 3092 Forewarned may be fore-armed, but sometimes knowing in advance isn't everything it's cracked up to be. ( Yeah, yeah, I know. You just wanna make sure I'm not gonna be even more of a burden on this mission than usual, since I'm already hardly better than a useless lump. )

I've been so insanely busy for the last... well, year, really, that I've hardly written a damn thing. And the less I write, the less I want to write, because it's really hard to get back into it. But I've finally had a couple of days off, and I've used the time to force myself to start writing again. Hopefully I will continue to be at least a little more productive. The idea for this came to me while catching up on the latest episodes, pretty much springing full-formed into my head, so I figured it would be an easy one to start with. Title: Going Casual Series: Bleach Pairing: gen, but you don't have to squint to see potential slash Rating: PG-13 Warnings: do I actually need to warn for swearing when Ichigo's involved? It should go without saying Length: 3134 Ishida just can't take it anymore... something needs to be done about Ichigo. ( No ruffles. Nothing girly. I mean it, Ishida. )

Okay, so about two days after school ended, my computer imploded. Rather violently. I've had to completely replace the hard drive, and they couldn't retrieve anything off the old one.
Now, all my writing is safely backed up, as it should be. But I just didn't have space to back up my massive mp3 collection, and most of it is almost impossible to replace through normal channels. It represents ten years of collecting j-rock and anime songs, and I don't even know where to look for some of it now. Some I've been able to recover from Cnd's files, but she and I don't always have the same taste.
Most of it I can live without, but some of it I really want to replace. If anybody on my flist has the following, PLEASE let me know.
Prince of Tennis: anything by Ohtori, Shishido, Fuji Yuuta, Kamio, Echizen Sakamoto Maaya - anything Yuuki Hiro - anything Seki Tomokazu - anything, especially his Fushigi Yuugi image songs Okiayu Ryoutarou - anything Sakurai Takahiro - anything Suzumura Kenichi - anything Charcoal Filter - anything Hayashi/Canna Nobutoshi - anything Weiss Kreuz - anything from their LATER songs, not from the Gluhen, Schlag des Herzens, or Das Ewige Dasein albums (I own those, I can just rip them again)
Um... that's everything I can think of, anyway. I'm sure there were others, but it's hard to remember exactly what I had. The worst of it is, the songs I REALLY want back are all sitting happily on my Ipod shuffle, where I can't retrieve them. -_-
Thanks guys, I appreciate anything you can find for me. I'm just SO GLAD I keep back-ups of my writing, always. *sweatdrops*

Ahaha, the worst of the crunch at school has passed - at least for the moment, until all the final projects start being due. Which is to say, next week. But for the moment I am on vacation until next Wednesday, and I'm bound and determined to get this fic finished before I go back to the crunch once more. Fear not, the end is in sight. Title: Too Close For Comfort Series: D.Gray-man Pairing: gen, Lavi- & Kanda-centric Rating: PG-13 Warnings: uh, mostly just violence this time. Chapter length: 3532 Total length: 34,730 This mission has brought Kanda and Lavi closer than they ever wanted to be. ( You know, I think we may be doing more harm than good, here. )

So I got to be healthy for a few days, and then promptly caught a second and much worse cold. They keep sending me home from school early out of pity, and I basically haven't done anything but sleep or play mindless video games for the last... two weeks or so. >.< I'll have the last of Too Close For Comfort out as soon as I'm capable of thinking again, I promise. In the meantime, I wrote this last August, but due to technical issues didn't get it back from my beta until just now. So enjoy this until I can kick my brain into gear. Title: Crisis of Conscience Series: Star Ocean III Pairing: Cliff/Fayt Rating: NC-17 Warnings: yaoi Length: 5001 Cliff might be one of the Federation's most wanted terrorists, but his conscience comes through loud and clear. Not safe for work!( Klausians were stronger and more durable than the average human, but the genetic shift hadn't increased their willpower any. )

Sorry guys, I was miserably sick for just over a week and got nothing finished, so this chapter took longer than I wanted it to. Which unfortunately means that I'm now into prep time for my film project and we start shooting on next Monday, so I may well not have time to write again until it's over the following Monday. -_- The last chapter will be out as soon as I can manage it, I promise. Title: Too Close For Comfort Series: D.Gray-man Pairing: gen, Lavi- & Kanda-centric Rating: PG-13 Warnings: uh, mostly just violence this time. Chapter length: 5149 Total length: 31,198 This mission has brought Kanda and Lavi closer than they ever wanted to be. ( There are better ways to kill a mosquito than pounding it with my hammer. )

Uh... Okay, I guess I should warn for spoilers since it's a specific one. Spoilers for the lotus flower, I think it was revealed in ep 34-35 of the anime. Also I think this may end up being eight chapters, the next one is shaping up to be two separate chapters after all. We'll see how it goes. Writing about 1000 words a day, it's taking me a full week to do each chapter. I'm so sorry for being slow! *bows humbly* Title: Too Close For Comfort Series: D.Gray-man Pairing: gen, Lavi- & Kanda-centric Rating: PG-13 Warnings: uh, mostly just violence this time. Chapter length: 5371 Total length: 26,049 This mission has brought Kanda and Lavi closer than they ever wanted to be. ( Hey, just 'cause you couldn't unbend long enough to pull the stick outta your ass doesn't mean I'm not capable of shoving one up mine. )
|
I doubt I'll have this finished before school starts again, but hopefully they won't pile the projects and extra work calls on us too heavily until at least the second week, so I should be able to finish it. *crosses fingers in hope* I don't know what it is about this fandom, but the ideas I get for Lavi and Kanda are always so much fun to write. ^_^ Title: Too Close For Comfort Series: D.Gray-man Pairing: gen, Lavi- & Kanda-centric Rating: PG-13 Warnings: uh, mostly just violence this time. Chapter length: 5543 Total length: 14,759 This mission has brought Kanda and Lavi closer than they ever wanted to be. ( And I'd always heard Exorcists were such big, scary bad guys. )

Happy New Year to everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying their holidays. I know I am. Title: Too Close For Comfort Series: D.Gray-man Pairing: gen, Lavi- & Kanda-centric Rating: PG-13 Warnings: uh, mostly just violence this time. Chapter length: 3690 Total length: 9216 This mission has brought Kanda and Lavi closer than they ever wanted to be. ( Was this how other people saw him? Was this how other people saw everything? )

takaya_san, I haven't forgotten about you, I swear. I'm having a lot of trouble wrapping my brain around Lavi/Allen, and I get very little time to write during the school year. You will get your gift-fic, I promise. This story has been bouncing around in my brain for two months now, and it won't leave me alone. I only hope I'll be able to finish it before I go back to school on the 7th, because I'm not going to have much time to work on it after then. We'll see. Definitely no promises of a chapter a day this time, not with New Year's and a 5k race and my birthday in the intervening time. ;p Title: Too Close For Comfort Series: D.Gray-man Pairing: gen, Lavi- & Kanda-centric Rating: PG-13 Warnings: uh, mostly just violence this time. Chapter length: 5526 Total length: 5526 This mission has brought Kanda and Lavi closer than they ever wanted to be. ( Glaring at Lavi never had much effect, but it did make Kanda feel marginally better. )

Yes, I am still alive. Completely exhausted, but alive. My school schedule is completely insane - I'm there from 8:30 to 5:30 every weekday, plus an hour transit each way. PLUS extra time spent doing 'workcall', which is where the fourteen of us are building all the costumes for the theatre and film projects happening at Capilano college. For a couple of weeks there I was at school until 7pm or even 9pm, including weekends. And piles of homework and projects and studying on top of that, of course. @_________@ I'm ten times as busy as I ever was when studying physics at Queen's, but about a million times happier. I love every minute of it - though I could do without the all-night day-before-deadline project working sessions. >.< Costume design is absolutely fascinating, and the more I learn the more certain I am that I've finally found something I will actually love doing. I'm getting good grades - not as high as I'd like, but I estimate that I'm either third or fourth in the class ranking. Which would be more impressive if there were more than fourteen of us in the class, but still. ;p I'm even making friends with my classmates, spending time with them outside of school (what little time outside of school we actually HAVE, anyway). Unfortunately the only time I have to write is by hand in a notebook on the bus to and from school, so writing is going incredibly slowly. I failed NaNo again this year, but I did actually write as much as I possibly could have, so I don't feel bad about it. I get to see my computer for about five minutes every morning to check my email, and if I'm lucky I'll get an hour to type up what I've written about once a week. *sweatdrops* So if you're wondering why you haven't seen much of me, that's why. In the meantime, here are my final sketches from my latest project. We had to do costume designs for four characters from Romeo and Juliet, set either during late Italian Renaissance or early Northern Renaissance, ie the Tudor period. I'm incredibly proud of them, considering how absolutely useless I am at drawing anything. I put a lot of work into these, and I'm SO grateful for all my hours spent colouring line-drawings of pets in Photoshop for Gaia Online. Lady CapuletJulietRomeoMercutio

This one is for Trio, because I finally have a fandom I can write in that she's reading. It's been a while, nee-san. Hope you like it. I wrote this entirely by hand on the bus to and from school, in less than a week. @_@ I never write by hand, but I've been getting desperate because schoolwork prevents me from having any time at my computer. Now my hand hurts. ;p Title: Three's a Crowd Series: Ouran Host Club Pairing: Hikaru/Haruhi, Kaoru/Haruhi Rating: PG13 Warnings: Het (what is it with me and het stories lately?), about as much twincest as is in canon, ie they're playing it up for the club. Minor spoilers for episode... 5 and 14, I think? Length: 10,159 Things get complicated when it's not just 'our world' and 'everything outside our world' anymore. ( She smiled at him, the same smile that had made him fall for her in the first place - the one that said she was perfectly aware of his flaws and thought he was more than a little odd, but she liked him anyway. )
