I was lucky and got one off my first tree, and have one in my main party <3 I think it's female (my DS is upstairs so I don't wanna check) so I'm happy to breed her for anyone who wants one.. [1:58 pm. ] [ music | The Cardigans - And Then You Kissed Me II ] I've thought long and hard and seen a counsellor about it, and... I'm going to drop out of my degree. Computing makes me so miserable it's not even funny, I thought I'd cope, but I just have no enthusiasm for it. I can't get myself up to go to lectures, I can't get myself to do any coursework, I just don't care. I have SIX resit exams in the following two weeks, and I just can't face it, at all. Obviously my main concern is that right now I feel like a big fucking failure. I suppose to some extent I am, but I honestly think I'd do better if I did a subject I like.. cared about. So where do things go from here? Well, I need to talk to the Academic Advisory Service, have a chat with them about the potential degree switching, see how the money thing works out... and here's the pisser - I probably won't be able to go into a new degree until September 2007. That means I'm going to have to get a full-time job for a year, and earn some money so that I can live. Now that's scary. ... But also kinda exciting. I've never had a job before, I've never really had money I can call my own, you know? It might be a nice feeling.. but either way, I'm going to start a new degree either September 2006, or September 2007. [8:49 pm. ] Ah retail therapy. I bought myself a green tee from Gamestation - the smallest size they had was large :( But it's dark green and it has a pixellated Link (from A Link to the Past) on it with a triforce and says "May the way of the Hero lead to the Triforce" I love it more than life itself right now. The guy who worked there was uber-cute, and I asked him if he had a smaller size and he was like "No ;_; I was gonna get one myself but *shows how skinny he is* so I really couldn't" and I was like "Eheheheh <3" and then I picked up (and subsequently purchased) Dungeons and Dragons Online: Stormreach (haven't installed it yet). He was like "Oh, do you play Warcraft?" And I was like "Hell yeah!" He was like "Awesome! What realm?" "Venture Co." "Oh.. shame.. what side do you play?" and the conversation continued for a little while while he served me. [2:32 am. ] So today I had two bricks thrown through my kitchen window. Happened about ten to ten, I was the only person in, I was sitting in the living room watching The IT Crowd (best. show. ever) when I heard an almighty crash from the kitchen. I leapt to the phone, dialled 999 and got the polices. Then I rang Dave, lol, and cried at him and he came to protect me in case they came back. They'd forced entry through the back gate in order to do it, and then just lobbed two bricks at the window.. like.. what was the point in that? Really? The police said it didn't look like they intended to get in, coz they didn't break it near the handle, and there wasn't anything on the shelf to steal. So. Yeah. That shook me up a bit, heh, but I handled it in a mature and responsible way. I rock. (window's all boarded up and stuff now obviously) Strange, coz this follows an incident yesterday, where someone hurled a plate into our yard narrowly missing both my housemate and my own head.
