Just had a fun night-- watched
Wall-E with Dustin (BEST MOVIE EVER OMG!!) and played some Rock Band... I convinced him to buy
El Scorcho by Weezer and
Hysteria by Muse and we totally rocked it out... I got 100%, yay. :D And I attempted
I'm So Sick by Flyleaf but definitely didn't sound angry... just timid. o_o; Anyhow,
Wall-E is an amazing movie, and probably my favorite of all the Pixar movies so far... how do they do it? It's just a beautiful story, and it makes me choke up to think of some of the scenes; a few people I've talked to have complained about the lack of dialogue but I think it's beautiful. A lot of times, we get caught up in words and what they might imply instead of what the person in front of us really
means... I think that's why this movie impacted me so much. (I am full of words, all the time, after all. lol) But yeah, I managed to fight through to the end without crying... until the end =_=; I knew I would, so I brought tissues... hehehe.
I wanted to note on here that a year ago, when I initially saw the preview, I was so nonplussed about the project and I was wondering what the hell Pixar was thinking. Now I really believe they've set the bar again. ^_^ ♥ I can't wait to buy this movie... seriously. :)
There are a lot of movies I'm looking forward to in the coming weeks, which is strange, because I usually hate movies:
The Dark Knight (HELL YES),
Kung Fu Panda (haven't seen it yet, heard it's hilarious),
Mamma Mia! (yes, I ♥ ABBA, and no, I'm not ashamed)... I'm watching
Wanted tomorrow with Crystal as well. @_@ This is more movies than my usual 2-a-year allotment... oh well. All in good fun... and I still have my student ID so I'm totally macking on the discounts until it expires. ^_^
And lastly... Kenny found more pictures of us online!
Here are links! ^_^ ♥
