...So at some point I changed my mind about a bunch of characters and didn't realize it until I filled this whole thing out. And now I've got a bunch of fic ideas. Geez... Hikago fandom, ILU!

And if I ever find myself questioning that again, I'm going to come back and look at this again. Because that's the kind of cluster f*ck I expect out of trashy fanfiction. Speaking of which, I think I'd fall over laughing if someone wrote fic where the Doctor meets David Tennant. I don't usually like real person fic, but it'd be worth it just to see the dialogue that the whole pseudo-incestuous relationship would generate. Besides, he's 37 and she's 23. Cradle robbing much? O____o But then, seeing as this article makes Tennant out to be a total playboy anyway, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. (I know, I know, trashy celebrity gossip - but this is entertaining and I had nothing better to do tonight. XDDD) But yeah. That's pretty special.

Straw poll! I'm thinking of setting up a weekly series of posts for the things I come up with on the train. My commute is about an hour each day, which is to say that I have a lot of time to think and come up with some nutty stuff, which then may or may not go on to become fic. It'd be a bit like that locked post I made last week (the week before?), only on a somewhat regular basis so I'm not tri-monthly looking at my notebook and going ;_________; why haven't I typed this up yet? ;__________; Would anyone be interested? Fair warning, I get a little cracktastic sometimes. ^.^;;;; But yes! Opinions appreciated.

I've been waiting for this for a bit, in large part because unlike most stories I've written, I have had such an urge to talk about this fic. I wrote God Fingerprints, which appears to have been a lot more confusing than I intended it to be. ^^;;;;; I've gotten some really good concrit on it, which makes me very happy. ^_____^ Anyways, it was the kind of story that has a story behind it, so I'm going to babble and hopefully the universe will ignore me while I do so. XDDDDD

In other news, I wish that I'd been able to comment on more of the BG fics. To be honest, I'm still not completely done reading them. XDDD I'm also majorly impressed with aiwritingfic, issen4, and aishuu for their reading and summarizing / commenting abilities. Seriously, three cheers to y'all. Also, GIANT LOVE to the mods, because y'all are AWESOME!!! ^____^

In other news, I'm still reading Blind Go fics. Slowly. XDDD I also, against my better judgment, have signed up for subrosa_tennis. XDDD Go me. XDDD I've been working on Looking Beyond again to get me back into a Prince of Tennis writing spirit. It worked... better than I'd intended, because the idea I'd intended to work with (that I've been meaning to work on forever) got absolutely run over by a gigantic plot bunny of doom. Mind you, I still haven't gotten much further on Looking Beyond, or anywhere at all on the new story, but that's sort of not the point.

Also been working on Doctor Who fic. It's been fun, because I decided to try writing in the classic style I haven't used since my days in the Sailor Moon fandom - the days where I didn't try to plot, but just let it flow and saw how it turned out. I... don't know that I'm in love it, but... it's not bad. It'll need major work before I post it, though, presuming I ever do. XDD

Also, in love with Amber Rubarth's In the Creases and Loud Nonsense! So much so that I've changed my journal's title, actually. It's been almost four years, so it was about time, but I just hadn't met with a good title yet. The video doesn't really do Loud Nonsense justice because there's this arbitrary strings break in it, but I couldn't find another copy. I'll admit, though - I'm more in love with her lyrics than her voice. ^^;;; Anyway, Ramblings has officially been renamed Singing My Nonsense Loudly (...And Whispering My Secrets), for the foreseeable future, anyway. That is all! ^.^;;;;

So here's a stunner, y'all - I finished my fic for Blind Go! XDDD I cut it kinda completely close, but I did it~~~! ^_^ It's ummm... yeah, let's not talk about it, because we'll do that after the reveals when I don't have to try to babble cryptically, yeah?

So, once upon a time, something like a year and a half ago, myself and my two good friends were watching the second season of Kaleido Star. They introduced a character named Leon, who shared a voice actor with Cloud Strife of FFVII / KH fame, and had long silver hair. A wonderful, cracktastic crossover idea was born. And now, it's finally a fic.

So, I saw someone playing the ehru on a subway platform earlier. It might have been more enjoyable if the guy was any good at it, but it was still kind of cool to see one in real life. Makes me want to write Saiunkoku Monogatari fiction, which is probably a good thing, because my IJ Het Challenge fic is probably going to be from that fandom. ^_^

Also, making headway on finishing Tutu fic. Clearly, I've been working on it too long, though, because that previous sentence sounded dirty in my head. I think I'll go to bed now. ^.^;;;;;;;;;

Because everyone else has done it, and I feel strangely inclined myself.

Grrr. I may have to finish that hate-Derek fic I started after last episode, when I totally saw this coming. Because seriously, kids. Seriously. This sucks.

I haven't posted in a while, so I figured I should let people know I'm still alive. ^.^;;; I just am in the midst of several projects, and started a new job, and such, so I haven't had anything fandom to post. Well! Let's fix that! ^.^

I found a Fullmetal Alchemist fic today that, for the first time in a very long time, didn't make me want to tear my eyes out. With the exception of my f-list, I've been avoiding the fandom like a plague for the past year or so, but I found a fic through someone's favourites list on FFN that surprised me by being totally awesome. It's RoyEd, which I'm not normally a huge fan of. It features female!Ed, which is also something I don't usually go for. And in spite of all that, it may be the best FMA fic I've ever read. It's called Returning Echoes, and it's not finished yet, but I'm looking forward to more of it in a way that I can't remember looking forward to something FMA in a looong time.

And I feel strangely inclined to write Grey's Anatomy fic, not just because there's nothing good out there and I'm desperate, but also because I really, really want to give Meredith and Derek a happy ending. The two of them are totally at the point where everything should be coming together. But because Shonda sees the culmination of their relationship as the end of the series, she's about to do something that seriously mutilates the characters. At least, Derek's character as I have read it to this point. And I could be reading it wrong. And really, I hope that I am. But I'm pretty sure Derek's about to have some sort of fling with Susie-new-character (the anesthesiologist), and of course that's going to mess up the whole relationship. But seriously? Any man who can tell a woman he wants to marry her and grow old with her and then in a matter of weeks start dating someone else deserves no respect. And I don't want to see it. But the train wreck is a-coming, unless I'm massively wrong. Grrr.
