[13 Apr 2005|07:18pm] I can't tell you how happy I was on Sunday after that race! 2nd on a freakin' short track!!!! Way to go! They overcame so much during the race! Watch out for them at Texas this weekend! I think it may be our weekend! I hope so, but the last thing I need is another Bill Elliott Kansas or Homestead.. Congrats to Jeff and all the Hendrick Motorsports team! They deserved that win this weekend..Definitely fitting too, being where it was. Ya know, Rick Hendrick is such an incredible person. I don't think I could carry on like he has. On to Texas! Drive fast?

[09 Apr 2005|07:08pm] Hey Yall! Sorry I havem't posted or commented much lately! I've been extremely busy with school and such and haven't had the time to get on much! Sorry guys, I'm catching up right now! I know 33rd isn't the best starting place for Kasey and the guys this weekend, but thats ok! I was watching Happy hour today and he ended up second behind Jeremy! EMS sweep in HH! Apparently they finally have this place figured out! Obviously tomorrow is Kasey's 25th birthday so HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO KASEY! I think a CUP win is the best way to celebrate a birthday! Go gettum' tomorrow Kasey! You can do it! Bristol report [03 Apr 2005|07:56pm] Hey yall! I got that lil personal journal up n runnin n yall can check it out at: www.livejournal.com/~southern_girl_9 Hope yall enjoy that! So, today I was trying to pull up trackpass before the race and I could not get it to come off...Grr to trackpass. That's alright though, the radio still came up so I could listen to Tommy, Kasey, and Kole, so it all worked out. Decent day for the 9 team. We finished 14th, which isn't that bad. If Kase could have gone a little bit lower on that one big wreck we would have more than likely been top ten. Ya can't say woulda, shoulda, coulda though. I'll take it. At least we finished! Big improvement from last year:) When Tony almost wrecked Kasey early on in the race that totally didn't help my voice, which is already going, but oh well. I know, I know it's Bristol. It's supposed to happen, but it was just the fact that it was Tony was what I didn't like. Oh well. Congrats to Kevin and the 29 team on their win. Even though I don't like Kevy that much, it was good to see someone other than Roush or Hendrick win. Just my opinion though. Also, it was nice to see RCR get a win just since they hadn't won in awhile. I thought it was interesting how Kevin won with Scott Miller filling in for Berrier. 1st entry [02 Apr 2005|07:43pm] Hey yall! This is my first entry in my nascar blog! Hope yall in enjoy it! In here you will find all of my thoughts n stuff about the world of Nascar today. I am also in the process of making a personal journal for other stuff too. I will post that link on here as soon as I get it! First off I want to say, HAPPY 25th BIRTHDAY RICKY! We love you and miss you every day! Ok, so today was supposed to be busch quals and the busch race, but quals got rained out so they start by owner points. Reed starts 6th, not that bad, so we will see what he can do. Unfortunately, the race is postponed to Monday at 10:30, which really stinks because I have school! Oh well, as much as I hate taped races, I can tape it and get to see it when I get home. So tomorrow is the cup race at Bristol, Baby! Yeah! Kasey starts 9th. Not bad, considering qualifying was SO CLOSE on Friday! We should have good track position which will be to our benefit. Plus, last year in the Spring race, we were running well until the incident with Jamie. This are all good signs that point to a decent run for Kasey and the 9 team. We'll see how it all shakes out! Hopefully Kase and the guys can get a good finish tomorrow. Alright guys, well thats it for now, but I'll probably uupdate after the race tomorrow! Yall have a good day! -Sarah Drive fast?
