trick or treat! ... or homework
Happy Halloween, everyone. ♥ I didn't get a chance to dress up, but one of my friends was a tavern lady and another was a cat today. I also saw some guys dress up as girls, a Chex Mix box, Totoro, ... I know for sure two girls dressed up together as Mermaidman and Barnacleboy (yes, I watch Spongebob for the lols).
Otherwise, I'll spend the rest of the evening giving a listen to So Nyuh Shi Dae's first album and doing other boring, school stuff. D:
On a last note: OMG FRIENDSLIST. You're exploding with new entries. I think the dare thing is going across every lj I see o__o !! It's hilarious, though, so keep posting. <3
PS: I'll be gone for the rest of the week and then some. It's not exactly a hiatus, but more like--you guessed it--SLOWTIMES. (Ahaha, I love you for coining that term,allsunday XD) I've just been so out of the loop with my flist lately and I won't blame you guys if you ever decide to cut me because of lack of comments, etc. Sorry for being such a lousy lj friend lately :(

i say goodbye
On one hand, I'm glad to hear about the HIV thing! It might not be a perfect cure, but it's a great step for science. :D (And ahaha, Harry Potter).
On the other hand, nooooes! FIRE. San Diego, Irvine, Malibu = where some of the people I know live and uh, all those places are like 2 hour drives away from where my family is. We're fine as of now, but I just hope the fire doesn't jump around anywhere from now on. Here's to praying that they will be out soon. With the Santa Ana winds and the fire, though, the weather's going back up to the 90F range again. o__o
In good news, I got a 98 on my econ test! That makes all first tests I took this year A's, yay. *__*
Bad news is that SAT scores come out online on Thursday. Ew. XD;;
Edit: I've been f-locking almost half of my entries recently. Friends-Only people, how's the FO life? I'm contemplating it.

newsworthy!
OMG. One of my friends just got crowned Homecoming Queen at the football game! :D
With this, we break tradition. XD She's the flute section leader in our school marching band. This is not typical, but I love it anyway, YAAYYY. The boohoo thing is that uh we lost our Homecoming game, hahahaha. It was a big game against Redondo, too. (The ironic thing? I missed school from 3rd period and on today with my Yearbook editors to go to Redondo for a seminar.)
Changed my mind to wear a black dress tomorrow (I have no matching shoes or a bag for a brown dress D:). Woooo girl's night! There will be pictures. ;D

KAT. cross_chord. dkjaksla;kl!! Were this and this on your "plan to surprise Peradis" list?! Because UH WHAT. That was just like. djasdakj ♥♥♥. I was going to renew it someday when I had some decent money to spend (because at this point, I want to stop asking my parents and friends for things if possible), but omg, unexpected. I had a pretty boring and long weekend, but this totally makes me happy. :D (What should I do for you? I haven't written in so long--my fics suck now. D:)
In other news, my life is still... not much of a fun life! I don't know what else to say. My updates have been less frequent for this very reason. Everything is piling up on me now, it seems, that college applications are so near. I still need to find some schools to apply to. :x
(My last) Homecoming dance is also coming up next Saturday! Surprisingly enough, I have a dress ready, haha. I'm going as single again, but I guess I'm not missing out much because there wasn't anyone in particular that I wanted to go with. Still, the giddy girl inside me thinks that it would've been nice for somebody to have asked me. XD
I was swamped with Yearbook stuff this weekend, but how were yours, flist? (ahhh, I know I missed a friending meme oncatalysis's journal.)
PS: Oh, still have yet to finish Lovely Complex. Is the ending good? *_*
