After taking a leaf (entry?) out of Frank's journal, I've made my new LJ Friends Only. That's probably due to my being paranoid, but in truth, I've been meaning to do that for a while. >_< But if you're one of my friends, I'll add you eventually. xD

I have a spiffy new icon. ^^ Douglas Adams and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy = teh love. ^_^

So, five out of seven midterms are over. I'm vaguely sure I passed all of them except English, which... considering it was an actual AP test... scares me. Lessee... Art. Most likely an A. AP History - at least a B. SAT Math - A, considering it was the easiest test ever and I didn't study. Advanced Math - At least an A (and it better be - this is math). English - I'm kind of scared of what I got. I'm hoping its at least a B, but I'm not sure.

Physics and Latin left. Physics is my biggest worry right now. Latin - meh. Just need to make sure I know the passages and translations.

So after school was random. My mom apparently locked her keys in the house and couldn't get to them (how our door locks without a key is beyond me. o_O). So my brother some how (this is all while I was at school) finds my mom's missing cell phone in some really weird part of her car (which, for some reason, was also unlocked) and so they call my uncle to pick her up and so my mom was worried that she wouldn't be let in the house until my dad came home, and was half an hour late in picking me up until I told her I had the keys. And my mom worried over nothing. o_O

And I decided to do this random 100originalfics challenge, which I think I'll do for the Project Schwarz characters for no reason at all. Actually, its probably because I'm procrastinating on the actual writing of the story. xD

History and SAT Math midterms today. I think I managed at least a B in History and I'm roughtly 95% certain I have an A or higher on the SAT Math, which was ridiculously easy.

Ferret's cage is complete. All we need now is the ferret. ^_^

So today was Eid. Was fun. We went to starlit_sea's house where someone had given them an Eye Toy as a gift so we spent half the day playing that. Was massive fun. I want one now. XD

Had to skip school today so I missed like the last few review sessions and now I have to stay after massively for the midterms, something I've never done before. >_>;;

Anyone who has Mrs. Wood's AP English class, do you know what her format is and what we're supposed to review? Much help would be needed.

And etzhadaat, do you know what the Physics test format is?

Felt like I needed an obligatory post, even though I'm procrastinating working on my English essay. I will finish it!

Tests all week - Math on Monday, AP History on Tuesday and then come midterms. X_X

Stuff has happened and Eid is on Tuesday so I need to either skip school or leave early. Leaving early is probably in my best interests because I don't want to miss my history test but my parents aren't willing to drive from Northboro (where we're all going to starlit_sea's house) to pick me up at around 10:30 or something. But I don't want to miss school either because I hate missing school, especially the last few review sessions of math and other classes before Midterms.

Project Schwarz: I still don't like the section/chapter I'm on right now because it's dull so I kind of skipped ahead to the nifty scene that led to the whole creation of the plot. (Not to mention I've been waiting to write that scene forever ^^). Firebird amuses me. XD

And we're anticipating the arrival of Ferret hopefully by the beginning of February! Watch my brother and I squee like idiots over it! XD

So this was so late. I know I promised this to you earlier o_O

So, snow day was yesterday. My brother and I went out and built a snow man in the back yard because there's more snow there. That was fun, and we named it Ferret. ^^

Speaking of ferrets, my dad finally allowed my brother and I to get a ferret, so my mom took us to buy the cage, which is a giant four story (for ferrets) cage. The whole thing is set up except the stair cases, which we think are defective because you need to install them from the back of the floors included and these ones only install from the front. >_> So we need to do something about that.

Unfortunately for our ferret, my dad's a neat freak and anti-animals. After a really long argument, he said we could get a ferret, but only if my brother and I did everything. So we agreed. But then he decided he didn't want any animals in his house and said that since we already bought the cage, we have to keep it at my cousin's house in Worcester, which sucks because she already has a guinea pig and asking her to take care of my non-existent ferret would be pointless as well.

So basically, Dad's being a pain in the butt with this because then it's not really my ferret anymore if I can't keep it in my house. We don't actually have the ferret yet, but we plan on getting it around the beginning of February because my uncle (who graciously allowed us to eventually keep Ferret at his house, providing we came as much as possible to care for it) wants us to do lots of reading up on how to properly care for ferrets like his daughter did with her guinea pig. And we need to save money and stuff for the ferret and his supplies.

Yes, we've already decided on a gender, color, and name, XD. My brother and I want a white (albino would be cool) male ferret which we will name "Malfoy". Points to you if you realize why, XD

So that sucks massively. On the other hand, school began again today, which was somewhat interesting, except I was completely lost in math and everyone at my table kept staring at me for the classwork, because they just copy off of me. o_O I wasn't the only one though ::coughJoeNateeveryoneelsecough::

I got a ride home with minimaize's brother, which was nice as the AcDec meeting was pretty much screwed anyway. And then my mom picked me up to take me to my brother's school where she made me volunteer on Wednesdays for their homework club. So I did that (and unintentially wreaked some havoc).

And I still don't know which mood theme I should use - X Files, Lord of the Rings, or Advent Children. Any suggestions?

Project Schwarz (formerly Writing Status): I'm still waiting for Rachel to get back to me on my plot line and the first chapter of the thing which I emailed her. She still thinks the original version is better even though I want to redo the writing style and cut out a whole bunch of stuff. If I didn't cut anything out, the entire thing would be about 200K words, which although it would be nice, but at the same time would probably be superfluous. I also need to redo some character development so yeah, that's life.

I also found spiffy mood themes from X Files, Lord of the Rings, and Advent Children so I can't really decide which one to pick. The X Files one is spiffing cool, but some of the pictures annoy me >_> like the Skinner/Scully one ::twitches:: And the Advent Children one oozes of coolness as well, but then my entire LiveJournal is all Advent Children-ish >_>;; And the Lord of the Rings one is also spiffy but the sizes of the pictures are all weirdly shaped (giant square things instead of rectangles) so they would look weird with my LJ layout.

Suggestions as to which one I should pick? Or should I just go off and find a new one?

Woo, snow day! ::does happy happy dance:: How convenient is it that I get an extended day to finish all the homework that I procrasinated on? XD

Writing Status: So Rachel and I talked about Project Schwarz the other day and why I'm so screwed up in writing this because everything up until the major plot is just in my opinion pathetic even though she liked what I wrote so far. >_>

As a result, I'm going to write a prologue and try to just redo the writing style that I used before because I don't think that it flowed smoothly. Working on this since 4th grade is not going to stop me. Well technically, I've been plot lining since just before NaNo '05 so I don't know, but Firebird's been around since 4th grade, that much I remember, xD

Okay, so it's been 20052006 for an hour so far and I've already made some serious progress in life. For example, during the last 30 minutes of 2005 and the first 30 minutes of 2006, I just defeated Final Fantasy X. Woot, now how's that for some serious New Year's excitement? No more stupid ball watching... just me, my brother, Braska's Ultimate Summon, every single Aeon, and a glowing ball that's supposed to represent Yevon. That was fun so let's see if 20052006 will be better.

So I just came back from watching King Kong, which is like... ridiculously cool. The insect/freaky monsters scared me and reaffirmed my idea that bugs are the suck. The dinosaurs were freaking awesome and Kong breaking the T-Rex's jaw was disturbing yet cool at the same time. The human sized vampire bats were also scary. And the Native Islanders are also scary, I mean... really scary. In the 1930-something version they weren't that scary, but here they're absolutely terrfying. o_O But the movie is ridiculously cool. XD

And the captain amuses me. I like him.

King Kong oozes of Peter Jacksonian stuff. The cinematography, the music (both of which was done by the same guys from Lord of the Rings) were spiffing awesome and pretty much the same as what he did for Lord of the Rings. Woot, reaffirmed my faith in Peter Jackson, xD. Oh yes, and Andy Serkis remains my second favorite non-human actor. (Frank Oz is in first for Yoda ^^)

And the trailers! ::gasps:: X-Men 3! OMGWTFBBQ! Warren! Beast! Dark Phoenix! CrazyScott! Brotherhood! OMG! The Da Vinci Code! Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon ofsuckynamestealing! ::spazzes:: Even though I hated the Da Vinci Code (I'll give you three guesses as to why, xD) I'm still going to see the movie. ^_^

So yes, King Kong is spiffing awesome. Still need to see Narnia though.

Apparently my family loves weddings and everything related to them continue forever. X_X So now I have to spend the rest of vacation going to other people's houses and stuff and blah. Turns out I can't go snowboarding after all. D:

And for anyone who played Final Fantasy X - how do you get the Cloudy Mirror to turn into the Celestial Mirror? I know you're supposed to go up the sparkly cloud path in Macalania and talk to some kid next to a crystal and use the mirror on the crystal. But where is the idiot crystal and how do I use the mirror anyway? ::sweatdrops:: This is what happens when I start doing side quests.

Okay, so wedding stuff is finally over! Um let's see. Us cousin people went out to eat dinner on Christmas night. We went to some vegetarian chinese restaurant at "Hahvahd Square" xD. Every single "meat" item was made out of tofu stuff, but all was good. There was like 30 of us there, so that was my Christmas event of the day, xD.

And today was the "wedding reception" thing hosted by Amber's husband's family. That was cool, until the dancing at the end, where Zainab, her brother Shayan, my brother Ammaar and I skipped out on and sat in the lobby discussing Final Fantasy, xD. And then Fahad (the groom) just showed up behind and had the most amusing look like O___________________o. Was amusing because we scared him. Woot for geekiness.

And Zainab, I know you're reading this so just two random points - get a bloody LiveJournal and stop harassing me, yo. I had a third point, but I forgot it, xD.

Writing Update: Project: Schwarz is getting there... eventually. I'm in the process of editing the first part, which was completed for NaNo and I just need to shell out the next sections eventually. I'll get to that, as well as the sequel, which I've planned out already - always the procrastinator.

I think I'll start doing writing updates more, should keep me motivated now.

Woot, so it's the day after Christmas and it's Thunder/Lightning like whoa. xD Could have had a snowstorm, but NO... it had to RAIN.

So, Amber's wedding was yesterday, was fun. I have pictures, so if anyone wants to see them, I can email you the link. I'll probably post some here later. As usual, shoe stealing. This time we earned $321, which was nine dollars less than last time.. >_> but yeah, was fun.

School on Friday was somewhat interesting, though I really need to get into NHS to make sure I'm not the only one left in my history class, which was weird. >_> I don't have much homework except do my English essay and work on my SAT Math project and miscellaneous stuff that's not important. Woot, hopefully will not procrastinate. Work begins tomorrow! ::determined:: And dreamoflight gave me my Takuto plushie, which is very cool, xD. ::hugs::

guiltyred inspired me to make my own character quiz for my own characters. Expect that to be up soon, though I need to make pictures for that.

So yes anyway, my Latin class was invited to the International Club "Christmas Party" Thing. So Rachel and I had to go that for G period, but we slacked off and went to lunch first where dreamoflight and minimaize were (and a bunch of others). And then we hung around the door of our Latin class pretending to ignore the sign that told us to head to the back gym. But we left a while later as Brennan and Eric showed up and made us go. The party itself was weird. o.O

Everyone in our Latin class (pretty much 95% of everyone else was from International Club/ESL/whatever) sat in the corner doing weird stuff (Rachel and I lurked, xD). And someone suggested Musical chairs, which I haven't played since I was 6. So Desmond, Brian and Winson head off to play with a bunch of others and it turns out that our Latin class starts supporting them and trying to get our "team members" to win. Desmond won, so Brennan picked him up and wandered around with him, xD. And we stole the chair that Desmond won with, xD.

And there was other stuff that we made fun off and creepy dancing, lots of it. LOTS and LOTS. But it was somewhat interesting. And our Latin class was crazy, like always. xD

I'm having way too much fun with the fact that I have six icons now. xD

So yes, vacation is nearing and I'm getting really annoyed by school >_> I also need to go snowboarding and see massive amounts of movies. Such is life.

I need to rewrite my English paper because apparently the thesis didn't make sense, despite the fact that I redid it about 349839 times already. o.O

Amber's wedding is on Friday so I need to go to that. Must remember to bring my camera because I missed out at the last wedding. Hopefully that should be the end of wedding stuff for a long time.

Bridal shower thing was yesterday. Sucked massively. See, I probably would have had more fun going to minimaize's house, if it wasn't for my mom. So, we went to my cousin's house where the thing was supposed to take place and basically I sat in some room with my cousins Meryum and Zainab as well as Amber (my cousin that's getting married).

I also found out that one of my friend's is getting married next year and she's only 17 right now o.O. That was weird. So then the actual thing started, which I'm not going to get into the details because it's complicated and I bet no one on my friends' list would understand my weird cultural stuff xD.

So now I have a shitload of homework to do because of that. X_X Man, vacation needs to totally come faster so that I can go snowboarding. Woot!
