* Welcome to Jrock Scans. This is a community for the sole purpose of sharing scanned images of Japanese Rock. Whether it be tour pamphlets, magazines, CD booklets, postcards, whatever.

* One thing. Posts in this community are moderated, this is to avoid offtopic posts and the like. 90% of posts are usually accepted. Keep in mind that, when you post, it will not show up right away, because one of the moderators needs to accept it first.

oo1; Please post only JROCK scans, no jpop, kpop, krock, etc. Indies, Major, Visual Kei, non-Visual, as long as they are rock and from Japan.

oo2; NO SCREENCAPS are allowed.

oo3; NO STOLEN SCANS are allowed either. The images must be from magazines/CD booklets/etc, and put up by the person who scanned them.

oo4; When you post scans, either post the links to them or post the scans under an LJ-cut.

oo5; If you cause any trouble, you will get one warning, but after that, you're banned.

oo6; Be thankful for others' scans! Do not disrespect others. I will remove you from the community if need be.

oo7; When you post scans, please specify what magazine, month, and issue/volume they are from, this is simply so we can update the directory more efficiently.

oo8; When you request scans, please specify what magazine and what band you want scans of. If you do not, your post will not be allowed. And also, PLEASE put "request" in the subject line somewhere.

oo9; Don’t forget to check the directory before posting any requests! If the scans are in the directory, but the links don’t work, contact the person who posted, if they don’t respond within a week, you can make a post in the community requesting them.

o1o; If someone requests something, please make a new post to fulfill the requests (as long as you scanned the images), because if you do not, then they cannot be archived in the directory.

o11; When you comment, remember to stay civilized. No flaming, insulting, etc. And remember, we don’t want to know your sexual fantasies with any artists.

o12; NO DIRECT LINKING anyone's scans. Such as: [img src="IMAGE LINK"], [a href="IMAGE LINK"] or http://www.IMAGEURL.com, it leeches bandwidth. If you want to link to someone else's scans, provide a link to their post or upload the scans to your server.

o13; Please refrain from requesting an insane amount of scans (no more than 4 magazines at a time). If you do, your post will be rejected.

o14; Please do not ask for a larger picture of an image or where to locate an image unless you know the magazine and date/issue number. Please get this information at the band's community or on the band's website.

o15; Do not just post downloads to your scans. Please post your scans here or other outside resources where people can view them. However you are welcome to include a download of your scans to make saving scans easier.

o16; Scans pertaining to the Purple SKY magazine: We will only allow scans of promo images on our community. If articles are scanned, it will be denied. We have been appointed by the Clear Phoenix Media LLC copyright to stop the scanning.
