PPP

Went out with my friends to PPP and had lots of fun. Alfonso was just getting out of his car when I was parking mine, Angie and Iovanna where already there. We waited until Chema (with his Kyo hat) and Yuri (with bunny ears) got there and proceded to buy ice cream cones. After chatting up with Fanny, whom we me there (she was at her cousin's bday party), it was play time.

Yuri totally pwned me this time in table hockey, she beat me twice which is unusual cuz I always win... T____T  But I played once against Fanny and won, so I didn't feel so bad. Then we had some trouble with the basketball game... the balls wouldn't come out. We tried in another machine and it worked. Next was car races, and we both suck at it... AND THEN... I played a shooting game with Yuri as my partner where you go through stages, killing bad guys, using riffles and revolvers and I OWNED THEM! Tee-hee! Of course, we spent much money from our game card to go on until we met the "Boss" and MAN, that guy wouldn't freaking die even if I ran out of ammo from my riffle, my machine gun, or threw granades at him. My score was probably over 300,000-400,000. Then we played around in those Las Vegas / Wheel of fortune kind-of machines, trying to get as many tickets as possible. Only got 201, but we had lots of fun.

Priscila arrived somewhere around the time Yuri and I were killing soldiers, and since she was hungry, the rest went ahead and got their dinner (mini-pizzas!). When we got back to the table, after buying another chocolate ice cream, I was greeted by my boyfriend and his kind words: "You shoot like a macho!" And I was mostly like: O__o;; "WTF?"  He said it was cuz he'd usually be killed earlier in that kind of game.

As old as we are, Peter Piper Pizza is always way too much fun.

Pictures covering last semester of 2007, seeing as I stopped posting them after Rau'ls birthday. The most representative, I shall say.

And now, about life...

Of course of lots of things have happened. I suppose mostly good things, with a few bumps on the road. I've been keeping a day-by-day diary with very brief sentences, which helps keep track of what I do (me and my bad memory) and vent out sometimes. According to my notes, the weather has been crazy... But it's pretty nice right now.

January was a good beginning. I turned 20. All of my friends were crying because they thought they were getting older as their own birthday's approached (at this point, even Alfonso has turned 20, and out of my friends, just 3 more are pending on that, hahaha). But I felt good about it. Twenty is such a pretty number. And I've never felt better with myself and everything around me.

In January we (as in mom and dad) also decided to keep the stray dog. Tommy (aka Mr. Tomás Tobias Perro) is an aproximately two-year-old cocker spaniel, pure-breed according to the vet (and even if not, he does look like it). After we took him in, he recovered from his wounds, forgot his skinny-to-the-bones self, and grew attached to my mother and viceversa. It's pure love.

A much celebrated picture from his royal highness.

School went okay after all. I've put a lot more effort this semester than before, which paid-off with a 95 overall average, my highest score so far.

Relationship-wise, Alfonso and I are doing really fine. Whatever comes up in the road ahead of us, I know it'll be fun if it's him beside me.  <3

<3 )

He was being grumpy here.

My friends are awesome and fun. As usual, we've gone to the movies, gone to parties, gathered for karaoke sessions, or simply goofed around. I missed Yuri a bit, since she was studying at Puebla, but now she's back and we're already rock-and-rolling. Angie and Chabela have also visited and we've had wonderful times. Each of my girls is fantastic.

And my family is just dandy. XD We've always been pretty normal... mostly...

Oh, and the dogs. How can I forget my crazy pets? The three that love hardened tortillas and cookies and grapes and the new family member crazy about my mother (like mentioned above)...

doggies )

It has been fun. Now... Canada gets closer every day.

My parents are crazy.... kind of.

It's kind of weird that I'm being the sensible one about the situation with Brandy Tommy. I still say it's too much trouble to have another dog. Mom was about to hand him over to my neighbor's maid yesterday, when I reminded her to call my father about it. My dad won't let go of the pup, saying it's his dog and whatnot. So today, my mother took him to the vet (who told her that the dog must be, at the most, 2 years old) so they could give him a bath and his shots. He's a very obedient puppy (he lets himself being led to the car with a dog chain and gets into the car rather willingly.... he likes riding in it) and wants to constantly be petted. I think my mom is even more fond of it because it reminds her of her own cocker spaniel when she was my age. I told her it was dangerous, getting so fond with it; parting with it will be much harder.

EDIT: And so, we keep the pup.

Echoes

Almost a year ago, I bought and read a book called Echoes. I thought it was a terrific book; and not only that, I loved it so much that I began a rant that became a full summary of the book. I never got around finishing it (which is why I never made the post public), but tonight I did because I thought it was just about time.

And so, here it is: Echoes, by Danielle Steel.

It's like... a spoiler fest and has way too many typos, but I'm a bit tired to go on a spelling-grammar hunt right now. Just wanted to share the things I do when I have nothing else to do~! XD

I'll post stuff from Jan through March here. Next post will be May pictures.

PotC3 again

I finally got around watching that 10 years later epilogue at the end of the credits of Pirates of the Caribbean 3. I felt... at ease. Though I still have some doubts left and would love a fourth film, the epilogue put my heart at rest. That feeling of "WTF happened here, how can something like this happen to them!?" sort of went away, sort of. But it was good.

The movie... I loved it one more time. I laughed even harder, 'awwed' louder, and even cried at some point. I love it~!

I didn't mention it before, but I think the soundtrack is awesome and I'm thinking of buying it (and the other two, as well, but later). Really good music.

.
Ham, Trini, and Trini's girlfriend left, we took some pictures together, Erika's parents picked her up, we bought stuff at Sanborns, and then I dropped the rest at their houses. While we were in the car, I don't know how we ended up chatting stupid things about virginity and Jorge not wanting to be a 40-year-old pathetic virgin like the one in that movie. It was weird... but fun, somehow. XD

Ahoy! (my rant on PotC3)

I went with Priscila to the premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: At the World's End, just got home an hour ago.

I'm... stunned, left speechless, with a heavy feeling of excitement in my chest. It's probably one of the most wonderful movies ever, to me, at least. I love pirates and I loved them in this movie. It's the first time that an action-filled movie makes me feel like that, eyes wide and chest thumping. Part 1 is my absolute favorite, and Part 2 was really exciting, but this... this is... I can't even begin to describe it.

And the fighting scenes! Beautiful dances with swords, water everywhere. And crabs. Jack was bloody brilliant, Will and Elizabeth had my heart clenched and crying for them every time they appeared on screen (most particularly Will, as he looked terribly handsome in every frickin' scene). By the way, Orlando Bloom, I'd marry you any second. (For real, I've been squealing over him even hours before the movie started). Barbossa, I can't believe I like you now!! James, oh dear James Norrington. Tia Dalma, I KNEW it! I did!! And Keith Richards, you're the best daddy ever!

The movie is filled with deceive and different paths and decisions to be taken and love and sacrifices, but they all lead to a majestic ending. I was... half dissapointed by it, however. I mean my words when I said majestic ending, but part of it just didn't feel right. I wanted to cry. I want to cry. But then, what followed... Oh my... Now I can be 99% sure that there'll be part four. There is no way that there is NOT a part four. There is closing to many things, but there are still things to be solved.

I can barely wait to go see it again, now with all my friends. It's so very worth it. I'm buying it as soon as it comes out. And, OH GOD! They have to announce movie number 4! PLEASE!! I mean, Johnny Depp did say we'd be seeing more of Captain Jack Sparrow, right? :P

.
EDIT: WTF!? They totally didn't show the scene after the credits!!! Damn Henry Cinemas! They better show it at Cinepolis!! OMFG! That's not fair. This has crippled my hope for part 4 somewhat, but I shall remain waiting.

Holiday Greetings?

I'm in a hurry since we're leaving in... uh, actually, right now? (And I still have to shower, damn, Dad's gonna be mad). These ten days I've been "out"... have been nothing much. And er, I think this trip might be not so bad... after all, I'm getting presents.

I don't know if I'll be able to use my Aunt's computer tomorrow (unlikely), so:

I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!! Have fun and eat lots of good stuff. Enjoy these holidays to the very best. God bless you. And I love you all.

P.S. I promise to catch up soon with you guys, I haven't been able to check my flist yet. :X

To celebrate Joshie's birthday on the 24, we went to PPP, as he is obssessed with the Pump-It thing.

and the pictures, of course! )

[October 31 2006]
Priscila threw a Halloween party at her house. Some, like Iovanna and her boyfriend, wore customs. It was fun, even if the girls were all over the karaoke by the end, haha.

I was neglecting my homework and just fooling around and decided to check Gunota Headlines, to see if there was any news on the new Stargazer or the Destiny 3 season. And I found this, from Friday 25, 2006:

{New voice for Stargazer's Shams Couza
Sunrise put up a press release stating Mamoru Miyano will be the new voice of Shams Couza in episode 3 streaming and the DVD release. The original voice by Hiroshi Kamiya is currently hospitalized for injuries suffered in an automobile accident.}

O___o;;

KOUJIIIII~~~~~!  ToT

I loved Hiroshi Kamiya's voice in Digimon Frontier. But yeah, after watching Ouran Koukou Host Club, I can bet Mamoru Miyano will make a wonderful job too. Plus, their voices are... kinda alike. Actually... I like Mamoru's voice better... xD Anyway, get well soon, Hiroshi-san~! And ganbatte, Mamoru-san~!

Speaking of seiyuu's an Ouran... I knew Kenichi Suzumura voiced Hikaru, but silly me never connected the fact that he also voiced Shinn in Gundam Seed Destiny. GOD! I hated his voice there, so extremely whiny and bitchy... (though his voice in the image song was nice, I admit) But he's doing an impressive job in Ouran (the fact that Hikaru is one of my favorites doesn't have anything to do with that) and the songs released in the OST II... I'm hearing them both over and over just because of him. It also just clicked in my head that he was Kouichi in Digimon Frontier... I don't know why I hadn't realized it when I had been obssessed with his "With Broken Wings" for a long while. I just hope he NEVER does something like Shinn again (yeah, I hated Shinn that much).

P.S. I will write that e-mail... soon... Thank you guys, I'll reply tomorrow to your comments after school. Must finish Math. >__<
