I'm sad that the RP had to go out on a sour note with such bad blood between people, but I don't at all regret having joined (it would've been a year on the 29th, rather ironically). I met some great people, I got to let my deviant imagination run free, and I had a blast playing with all of you - my only regret is that I didn't get to know some of you better. I'll always have fond memories of forging relationships with people, ICly and OOCly, and of brainstorming new ways of torturing my characters, because I'm evil like that. I'm sorry I wasn't a good enough assistant to prevent it, but I tried to keep things calm until people had time to resolve it. Apparently, it wasn't enough. In all retrospect, I'm still glad I did have the opportunity to try this out. I got the chance to play characters I had never played before and discovered a great new format for roleplaying. [Jan 6 07] inu_inu_izumi Okay, so. I don't want to rant too much, so I'll try not to. (KNOWING ME, THOUGH... xD) I'm really tired of looking at this comm every day (or as much as I can, anyway) to find more drama, more crap going around that doesn't need to be there. This RP died for me a long time ago, but I've stuck around because of my own personal attachments. But, thanks to the slew of people leaving, I've realized... Izumi x Cloud could go on at CP. I'm currently having the time of my life as Ema Skye at RH. As for the other three, I've been really attached to Jam, because she's probably the character I've had for the longest. But I think I've come to terms with her being gone since Trio died. Erk didn't get any interaction anyway, and I guess he can join the group of Fire Emblem characters I've attempted to roleplay, and got nowhere. I hope I can try my hand at him again sometime. A.B.A. might be the hardest, though, because she's my first character here, one of the first to appear in the desert, and a new character for me entirely. However, I don't believe I have much to do with her anymore, anyway. And so~ bai bii, guys. :D It's been fun, but, as the great Hurricane himself, Legault, says, "There's no sense in staying on a shinking ship. No sense at all." Leaving [Jan 4 07] chibicrawfish I'm getting really fed up with someone being allowed to break the rules and being ignored when I ask the owners to do something about it. Yes, I DID email the relevant people. A few others of us have also done so. We have been completely IGNORED. I cannot stay in an RP where people are allowed to break the rules. I refuse to be ignored by the owners when I point this out to them and ask them to explain why they are letting it go on. I've been RPing for years and this is certainly no way to run an RP. So I quit. My characters are all going elsewhere, and unlike what Danny said, it is NOT a "secret" RP. It is an RP that all of us who are dissatisfied are going to and anyone who wants to join in can IM any of us. Yes, I realize I'm relatively new to this group. New being about two and a half months. But I still really don't get some of you people. Not at all. When someone comes to a roleplay, this isn't the kind of environment they expect--Nor is it what they want. I don't care how you all feel about each other. Personally, I don't want any enemies. Quitting the RP and starting new "secret" ones--Since when does running away from a problem solve it? I really hate to generalize this to all of you, but I doubt it'd be fair if I directed my anger at individuals. I am ashamed. Utterly ashamed. Thank you. Some people don't have time to catch up on all the logs or they aren't involved with them so they try to write journals but they can't because lack of ideas. SO. Those who suck at logs and want something to do with their journals, I was thinking we should have an event! Currently my idea was hut-related so here's the dealio. It's sorta the punishment for...something. I DON'T KNOW WHAT FOR BUT THE REASON FOR THIS EVENT COULD BE PUNISHMENT. ANYWAY. Each hut goes through something...WEIRD. Am I Missing Something Here? [Jan 1 07] chibicrawfish Um...I'm not a mod but I think I'm seeing a problem... You see, I remember a certain owner saying a while back that everyone, including moderators, had to apply for their characters in the application thread. But there's some characters that have been brought in for which there is no formal application. I'm wondering if this is favoritism on someone's part, or did they not read the rules about bringing in characters? Because I clearly remember seeing those posted at one point, and even the owners have had to formally apply for new characters. EDIT: Also, if someone's applying via e-mail, can there please be something put in place that lets everyone else know that the person applied that way?
