1KI 17:2 Then the word of the LORD came to Elijah: 3 "Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan. 4 You will drink from the brook, and I have ordered the ravens to feed you there."

1KI 17:5 So he did what the LORD had told him. He went to the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan, and stayed there. 6 The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook.

It's all about faith in what doesn't make sense.

It's also about moving on when the time is right - following God's lead when He tells you to move.

You know, we spend so much time in our little comfort zones, that we forget that life is all about change and growth; if something is not changing, it's dead. We get used to living in this little Christianeze bubble, forgetting (or ignoring) the world around us. There could be many reasons for this. Maybe someone hurt you and you've decided to lock yourself away from the vulnerability of openness. Or possibly you were in constant motion with God, and along the way you became so caught up in "stuff" (ministries, work, life . . .) that having a real relationship with God slipped to the back-burner. Maybe you just gave up.

Whatever the reason, we all know that sooner or later life catches up to you. The world becomes too heavy a place to carry on your shoulders.

That's because it wasn't meant to be on your shoulders.

When you allow yourself to stop moving (figuratively) and it's not in God's timing, you leave His will. Operating outside of the Lord's will is not an easy task to manage. The Lord is our strength. Without Him we have none.

You can't hold the world on your own shoulders. You need to give it back to the one who created it. God never left you. He was just waiting for you to get it together so you could both take that journey toward change.

Don't allow yourself to stagnate. Remember: Change is Good.
