Work is the same. Belk is open from 11:00 - 7:00 on Sundays now, which means I'm now spending nine hours there doing nothing instead of six (the math's off but that's cuz we come in 30 min. early and leave 30 min. late).

I love wearing long skirts and eating cereal from the box because when crumbs escape, they fall onto the skirt. You can eat the escaped crumbs, too.

Regarding Katsucon.. Kizzatie -- themadfish, btchi_kitten and Ashnuts will be leaving Friday after 12pm. I wasn't too sure if you wanted to leave earlier than us.

So. I saw Brokeback Mountain yesterday.

It was everything I thought it would be and more. I was impressed by the acting. It had a slow crawling feel which heightened the realism and more brutal moments.

And, uh, yeah. I LOVE JAKE GYLLENHAAL.

We also ate a Korean BBQ. I had forgotten how all Korean dishes are super spicy. I cried tears of pain. But the meat was good.

It's been a weird and long day.

Today was Grandpa's funeral. Rainy day with lots of fog and highly edgy with Grandma yelling around in Chinese. Some of you may remember Grandpa as the man who said "shoe."

I've made my peace with it so enough of that.

I've been taking pictures of the different places we've been eating at so you peeps can see what a real rest. looks like. Man, bubble tea.... I've had so much. The great thing about coming here is that everyone pays for your dishes. I've yet to really buy anything besides personal presents with x-mas giftcards and x-mas cash. Life is good.

I'm being shamed into learning Chinese. Literally, everyone's Chinese surpasses my own by flying dragons of the East. Including Melody's little brother of 5 years old, that little bastard.
