This will be my last post in this journal.

I'm moving out of andyish. The move may be permanent; it might only be temporary. But I'm going to be posting in my other Livejournal for a bit. It is friends only. If you ask me to add you, I probably will.

This is the only warning you're going to get, though. You may not like what you read. If you do, in fact, decide you want to read that shit, don't take it completely seriously. Most of my posts are made when I need to whine, bitch and angst. I'm not looking for ego boosts or sympathy or pity. Sure, those are fine and good sometimes, but they never truly help. Remember that I'm just venting. I really don't like bitching to people at school, because I don't feel like anyone really gives a damn what I'm upset about. Maybe you do, and that's awesome. Thank you.

Right now, I just need a place to bitch. So I'm moving. It's not hard to track the other journal down if you work a little. If you actually ask me in person or over phone or IM, I'll probably tell you, even. I don't really feel like advertising it, though.

I had candy duty tonight (after Rachel retired, at least)... Next to trick-or-treating, it's my favorite part of Halloween.

The wee superheroes were amazing. But wee Darth Vader was my favorite. The light saber was entirely too big for him. Manda's a happy geek now.

College Update!
So I decided to apply to Newberry College (SC), Erskine College (SC), Elon University (NC), Duke University (NC), Agnes Scott College (GA), University of Alabama (AL), Florida State University (FL) and University of North Florida (FL).
Newberry
The admissions counselor (a friend of a friend) e-mailed me and told me I'd been accepted. I'll get an official letter from them within the next week. I've been invited to be interviewed for the Trustee Scholars Award, the highest scholarship they offer.
Erskine
I've been accepted. I applied for the E.B. Kennedy Scholarship, a full scholarship. The foundation called and requested my transcripts, so that's a good sign. I should hear from them in one or two weeks.
Elon
I need to cut one of my essays down and write the $40 check, and that application will be done.
Duke
I need to call and re-request an application. I called almost two weeks ago, and I haven't received it yet.
Agnes Scott
I need to work on the application. I just got it two days ago.
UA
I have to send them transcripts and test scores, and that'll be done.
FSU
I have to cut down an essay for them and write another one. And I need to send them my application fee.
UNF
I heard from them today. "Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of North Florida. You are automatically accepted into the Honors Program, because of your outstanding test scores and GPA." Never mind the incorrect punctuation.

Yeah. Other than that, I need to:
- write my Modest Proposal for Lit
- pay the deposit for the senior trip
- work on Shawn's birthday present
- work on Alecia's birthday present
- buy NHS T-shirt
- scrounge up $7 for the Costume Dance tomorrow night (6:30-10:30 at DA)
