Say, does anyone in Allen happen to have a copy of "A Beautiful Mind" on DVD? I need to see it for Psych 238 homework and it's not in at either Rentertainment or the Undergrad Library. If I could borrow it from someone for the weekend I would be super grateful. Thank you!

penguinkingsven @ 4:43pm: Bored in allen
So it seems to be about time to start something. I'm interested in starting some kind of band in Allen Hall. I myself play guitar and am interested in singing, so I suppose I'm looking for a bassist, a drummer, and another guitarist for a start. I have no particular genre in mind. Just to get some people together to play some covers, and hopefully start writing stuff. If nothing else, it'll be an experiment. My own musical tastes lie mostly in the alternative (early 90s), metal (but I don't want a band that plays nothing but power chords and has guttural screams for vocals), and other hard rock. If you're interested in trying this out, contact Eric Savage via facebook or e-mail (dagdrommare@gmail.com), or AIM(Genius Madness)

stretchplum @ 12:58am: From your humble "moderator."
So, does anybody reading this actually live in Allen Hall anymore? If so, it'd be peachy if maybe you could spread word about the community here and try to breathe some life in to it. Things have been dead for quite some time. EDIT: Oh yeah, maybe you could get something in Allenotes or whatever they're calling the Allen newsletter these days. That's what I did to get things off the ground in the first place.
