hair / eyes [ [October 25, 2006 - 6:35 pm] ] just4advice ok, so here's the scoop. HAIR: I have light brown hair naturally. When I was about 13, my mom let my get highlights. i asked for "carmel", but the lady gave me bleach blonde. i went back a little while after, and she fixed it somewhat, and made them more of carmel. now my blonde ones are coming through. I've always wanted my hair to be a little darker. When its wet its somewhat dark, and I like that because it helps to bring out my green eyes. I have a hair appointment this saturday, and I was thinking of dyeing it back to its original brown color, but a bit darker. one, because i miss my old color, and two, because people are saying i have blonde hair. it's not other people's opinions that bother me, its just i want change. i asked other's opinions about it, and either they A) don't say much. something like "its not my hair, so i dunno." B) are totally shocked by the idea. everyone thinks my hair is blonde, and my closest friends are telling me not to. its that they're used to this color, but i want my old color back. the boy that means most to me says that it'll look gross. it ruined my day. if i need to send pictures to get more opinions, i will. ALSOO, my hair has a lot of breakage from when i was little that never seems to go away. i am currently using DOVE THERAPY SHAMPOO and its helping, but i want to speed up the process. how do i get rid of the nasty little hairs all over my head that just won't cooperate? EYES: I'm somewhat makeup-challenged. i was never taught the proper way to put it on, so i kinda fend for myself. i would love to learn how to put on eyeliner the right way to help bring out my eye color more. i think there's features about me that need to be exhagerated because i feel so fortunate to be able to have these features. does anyone know a good site that explains how, or can just tell me straight up?
