Birthday Shout-out

Happy birthday, J.K. Rowling! Which of her seven Harry Potter novels do you think is the most satisfying read?

  • I think Prisoner of Azkaban is the best one of the series.

  • Obviously I got this one late.

I'm not sure.  Philosopher's Stone, Prisoner of Azkaban, Order of the Pheonix and Deathly Hallows were the strongest.  The even numbered books drove me a bit nuts.  Good old JK however.  It's between Philosopher's Stone and Order of the Pheonix.  A lot of people didn't like number five - but I loved it.  The whole administration and Hogwarts teachers conspiring subtly together was fun.

  • They were all great until number 7, when her writing went down hill.  She tried to please so many people and it just was a big old mess.  My favorite? Hmm, it would have to be number 4, the Goblet of Fire.

  • hmm....  i love ALL the harry potter books so this is really hard .. but i think prisoner of askaban  mostly because i  looooove quidditch scences and the ones in POA are the best!!!

but deathly hallows is fab too!!!

  • idk i've never read them
  • Prisoner of Azkaban, whiiiich is ironically the worst of the movies, imo.

LUPIN LOVES. =DDD (and dude, he's a werewolf, movie producers, not some kind of freaky greyhound/chihuahua mix thing. Which was seriously very unfrightening. -_- )
  • Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
  • I love them all, but I would have to say Prisoner of Azkaban is the best among the Potter books.

  • well I don't really read but I think Harry Potter is a good book for all ages. I know old folks that enjoy Harry Potter. I am 22 and love the books. Some kids books are all so a great read for adults.
