Comfort Food

When times are tough or you're feeling down, what's the one food you can count on to make you feel better?

  • When times are tough, going to Steak ‘n’ Shake helps. That’s where me and Sean went with my mom a week ago this past Friday after I had to endure that horrible EEG. I had a Chipotle steakburger and fries. That made me feel better. I definitely needed to eat something a bit on the spicy side to make me feel better after that stress. We went back to Steak ‘n’ Shake yesterday. I changed up, and I ended up having a garlic double steakburger. What an amazing taste! Just like the previous outing, me and Sean both ended up eating the same burger—made the very same way. The only difference was that we each ended up eating different fries. Another reason we did this was to have fun, even make his parents jealous. I guess it worked. Shortly after we’d arrived at Steak ‘n Shake, his parents posted that they were also at Steak ‘n’ Shake in Florida. Unfortunately, we have no clue as to what they may have had for their meal. Ultimately, we may never know if they ate the same thing as us.
