Titular Heroes

Kurt Vonnegut's books have great titles, like Breakfast of Champions and Slaughterhouse Five. If your life was a novel, what would the title be?

  • My life as a novel? I'd probably title it Postcards From the Magnolia Tree

  • Escaping the Daydream, and Facing Reality. No wait- that sounds too much like a self help book. Personally, I think good titles just come, and on that one, I was just trying too hard... If I portrayed my life as a big joke, however, I could call it: The Autobiographical Thought Vomit and Memoirs of Me: A girl with a poor memory and too many ideas. Again, I am trying too hard.
  • I know I already answered this, but I was browsing through all of my posts from like... a while ago, and I noticed this one, glaring at me with the title of the book I just finished. Slaughterhouse Five was spectacular, and I really love Kurt Vonnegut's writing style.

And just to answer this question seriously, I think I would go with a similar answer to last time, but slightly altered.

"I wish I was two demensional."

  • Preparing for Never Because I spend so much time making plans without really even realizing I'm making plans, and way too often it never comes to pass. I'm just really really hoping this will not be the case for the two major life-changing events I've (hopefully) got coming up in the next year. Knock on wood. -Alexandra
  • Damn it! Her again?
  • You know, I'm not really sure. Spinning Wheel seems appropriate for me. Spinning your wheels, but not really going anywhere? That's me for the bulk of my adult life. At least, that's how it feels. Maybe the longest journey I've taken is the one inside my head? Agh. Introspection. Make it stop! Thanks for inspiring this, Patty. ;) -----}-@
