i live near CDM and newport i guess. i did nothing.
I participated in the 2007 International Coastal Cleanup Day held at Anilao Outrigger Resort, Anilao, Batangas sponsored by Dive Republic.
I was part of the underwater team and unlike this year, that day was rainy... sort of stormy. The water was a bit turbid and a lot of surface and undercurrent. But it was fun. Any chance to SCUBA dive.
I remember spending the better part of the day reading Kathy Reich's "Monday Mourning", starting at the bus on the way there and finishing the next day on the way home. There was a concert to celebrate the day that night, I watched it for my MuL9 class and took some pics. (I know I have them somewhere haha.)
This year, I wasn't able to join because I had other commitments with orgs and I didn't have the money. *sniff* I wanted so bad to join (and dive even if I don't clean up anything). But oh well. Next year.
I'm helping by not doing anything. Yay me, no seriously, i just get in the way.
hahaha thats funny cuz i dont live near any body of water!!
i'm helping by reusin' water bottles and not throwing away plastic bags.
Today is International Coastal Cleanup. If you live near a body of water, how are you helping to clean the beach today? View Answers
Does it look like I play tennis near the beach?
I'm from Seigaku
i don't exactly live near a body of water but my country is an archipelgo and is made up of islands surrounded by bodies of water how would i help? i would stop with myself. i belive that pollution is a chain and when you do something it leads to another, so the first step would be using less pollutants and sticking to ECO-FRIENDLY products.then i can help by giving people awaraness to stop pollution on water because the end product of that will be to us sooner or later not even later as we are now getting the bad karma of what we do to mother nature inline with giving awareness to stop water pollution might as well add awareness on stopping POLLUTION in general sence of the word. i wont be a martir on cleaning and going there by myself but i can support non government groups that have advocacies in cleaning the environment, lastly we don't have to clean if we don't mess up with mother nature.! if we start now i think we can still save our planet
