What gives you hope for your future? How about hope for your world's future? Is hope hard to maintain?

  • My incredible boyfriend, Sean “Mixing K” Keffer gives me hope for the future. Since the divorce last year, things haven’t exactly been easy for me. Before he and I got together, I thought all hope was lost that I’d ever love again. Now, he’s helping me learn to trust him—thus, he is fully understanding that I may have times when things don’t seem to be going right whatsoever. Sean’s definitely made a difference in my world—showing me that anything is possible. He’s also showing me that we can work together to make the world a much better place for those around us. I think there was a specific reason why I am living here at Deer Path—even a bigger reason why Sean and I are together. Nothing is more incredible than how we work together to make life easier for others. He sure has made me feel like a princess.

  • Jesus, my only hope, friend ever dear, Bend to my earnest prayer Thy gracious ear; Come from Thy throne above, come and my dross remove, Fill me with perfect love, Savior, to Thee. Jesus, my only hope, grant me Thy grace, Teach me in joy and pain Thy hand to trace; Keep Thou my heart in peace, bid ev’ry murmur cease, Come and my faith increase, Savior, in Thee. Jesus, my only hope, Jesus, my King, Help me with heart and voice Thy praise to sing; Now let Thy beams divine bright o’er my pathway shine, Draw me, O Savior mine, closer to Thee. Jesus, my only hope, be Thou my guest; Under Thy mighty wings, O let me rest, Rest till the angel band home to the promised land Bears me at Thy command, Savior, to Thee. • The world has a limited and dismal future, for the world exists without God. I rest in The Hope of Christ's Return, which is not a winsome thing, but a real event that has not yet arrived. Real hope is awaiting a certainty whose time has not yet come. How do I maintain hope? I study God's Word. I relish the events that have come to pass, and look forward to those that are still to come. I believe what has been written.
  • Well, God gives me hope every day, but beyond that, and taking the long view, I do see improvement in the developed world that gives me hope. Slavery was once thought to be acceptable in much of the world, now it is not allowed in most countries. Many societies accepted that women were 'lesser' beings, not capable of learning or making decisions or even owning property. Now that has changed in many places. Medicine has advanced dramatically, and many diseases and conditions that were once life threatening have been controlled and in some cases, eliminated. These are just some of the progress we have made and I think we will continue to progress.

  • Every day, I dare to believe that God is up to something much bigger than I have ever dared to believe.

  • My lOve for life and living gives me hOpe.
I have alot of faith in myself and my ability
to save the lOst and to be found.

I believe the future of the world is what the
people make of it, so having a person
such as myself in itself is apart of the difference.

Hope is not hard to maintain. Why?
It all depends on your outlook on life.
we all experience times in our lives
where we feel hope isn't much of nothing.
When you open up your heart and allow it light
to shine then you will see hope working it
way into your life in a bigger and better way
