Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?

  • Never make new ones. While base personality traits don't just up and change, those basic personality traits mixed with our prior experiences make us who we are. It's the reason why people with amnesia are usually so traumatized. I'd rather not be able to make any new memories than to loose my old ones, because that way, I know that I'm still me.
  • Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones? Me: i would rather never be able to make new ones.. Interviewer: why? Me:cuz if i lost my old memories i would forget how i met my best friends :) and i would trade anything in the world for my best friends.
  • Потерять!
  • lose old memories and start anew : )
  • i think it's easier to give up the old memories rather than the new/future memories
i can't even think of good old memories- just when i look at pictures or diferent items i can remember the happy memories- that is why i think i would rather loose the old memories(escpecialy the bad ones) and start making new/good memories
  • I don't want to lose the ability to make new memories, because then I'll end up being a pawn for a crazy woman like the poor brain damaged man in MEMENTO starring Guy Pearce, Carrie-Anne Moss and Joe Pantoliano. So I guess, it's losing all my old memories then. Even though I don't mind losing all of my bad memories, I don't enjoy losing all my happy memories too. Hey, I didn't pick out the questions. Would I actually go through with losing all of my old memories? It depends on if I'm getting a brand new face to go along with losing all my old memories. If I'm going to end up creating a brand new alter ego, I might as well follow through with it 100%. However, I'm not ready to suffer from a split personality anytime soon.
  • и то, и то ужасно. как можно жить без воспоминаний или не получать их?
  • I would keep my old memories and not make new ones. The future is untold, but you know your past. A human only has one childhood and you can never go back to it, only in memories you can revisit your childhood and old memories. the new memories to come might be harsh or good. its better to remember your past then your future.

  • I'd rather be able to make new and lose old.
