Are there any movies that you watched over and over again as a child that you can't stand today?

  • I was a big TMNT fan when I was kid (still am now :P ) and I loved the live-action movies and use to watch them on VHS on my ancient VCR over and over again. Kinda surprised the the tapes are still in perfect condition :P . But as much as I love the turtle boys now, I can't really watch the movies now without laughing. There's too much CORN!
  • Есть. Вот они: - "Тимур и его команда" - "Здравствуйте, я ваша тётя!" - "12 стульев" Захарова

  • High School Musical. I mean, what was WRONG with me?!!! Now I can't stand anyone even mentioning it, let alone watch it!!! Seriously, that movie is so sickeningly cheesy I'm surprised it hasn't gone mouldy by now.
  • "Четыре танкиста и собака".
  • Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Cant watch that ever again
  • 3 Ninjas (1992). Number one on my list, because I probably watched it more than any other movie. I would play it over and over again, all day, every day. I was a total tomboy, and I wanted to learn karate more than anything in this world. I also had crushes on Michael Treanor (Rocky) and Max Elliott Slade (Colt) at different times (first Michael Treanor, then Max Elliott Slade in the later movies). I wouldn't say I can't stand watching it today, I'm just not drawn to it like I was. I re-watch a lot of my childhood favorites, but I haven't watched it in years (until today). If the music and sound effects weren't so "kid-like," I'd probably enjoy it a bit more. Home Alone (1990) and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992). Back then, I loved anything with Macaulay Culkin in it. I haven't watched either in years, but the last time I did, I remember thinking how painful and silly some of the scenes are. Regardless, I still consider both classics. Problem Child (1990) and Problem Child 2 (1991). Junior was my hero, because he stood up to adults. Unfortunately, watching these movies over and over again probably contributed to me being a bigger brat than I already was. I haven't watched either in years, and I might not enjoy them now as much as I did then, but for nostalgic purposes, I might have to watch them again soon. I'm probably missing quite a few, but other childhood favorites include: Ernest Saves Christmas (1988), Parenthood (1989), Ernest Goes to Jail (1990), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990), The Addams Family (1991), Ernest Scared Stupid (1991), Father of the Bride (1991), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze (1991), Encino Man (1992), Addams Family Values (1993), Dennis the Menace (1993), Free Willy (1993), Jurassic Park (1993), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III (1993), Camp Nowhere (1994), The Flintstones (1994), The Little Rascals (1994), Monkey Trouble (1994), Ri¢hie Ri¢h (1994), Casper (1995), Father of the Bride Part II (1995), It Takes Two (1995), Now and Then (1995), and The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997).
