Do you prefer to live in a region with a temperate climate or four seasons, and why?

  • I thought I answered this question already!  Having lived here for so many years now (originally lived in northern Georgia) I have adapted nicely to the change in seasons.  I look forward to fall and all the colours associated with it....Thanksgiving and Christmas and such like.  Spring brings all the growing things and critters coming back from where ever they had been.  And lastly, summer...the time for shorts and tans. :D

  • Another year, another birthday past.  Strange how time flies by.  The things I use to think were so important don't even matter anymore.  I still can't believe that this journal is still here......and all my past posts are still still here, too.  I often wonder how different my life would have turned out if I had done some things one way and not the way I chose.  Life is funny that way I guess.
  • Temperate maybe, four seasons in a scenic area only.

  • Где родился, там сгодился. В Росии самый подходящий климат - на любой вкус. От Владика до Смоленска.
  • I like the changing seasons because they can all be really pretty in their own right. Snow is romantic and fall leaves changing colors are so vibrant. Oh and if you never stopped to pay attention, wind blowing spring blossoms of trees is quite the sight as well. That is why it is best to get to experience it all. Even just having the change in temperatures is fun too. I am sure when summer comes around and its scorching outside, most people would wish for winter and vice versa. Also, I would die in the tropical climates because warm, wet weather means more mosquitoes usually. Bugs love me so yeah no thanks.

  • I like the four seasons, because i live in New England. Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall. Autumn is my favorite, but i like all of them. :)
New England is awesome. Winter is cold and white. Spring is beautiful and blossoming, hopeful. Summer is hot and steamy. Fall is gorgeous and... indescribable.
Each has their own smell, feel, look.
Each has a certain type of rain.
Winter rain is cold, but it melts the snow and it feels warmer, you know?
Spring rain is awesome.. it gives life, you know?
Summer rain is refreshing and warm, and the smell it gives off when it hits the pavement is... delicious. It's warm and wonderful and whenever it's warm out and raining i go outside barefoot and in a tank and shorts and i just stand in the middle of the street. Smart? No. But it feels wonderful.
Fall... everything about it is wonderful. The rain mixes with the leaves and it's all mingled and sweet and the beginning of something new.
    Fresh starts.

Yes, four seasons is most definately preferable. Way better.

  • I've always lived in areas with temperate climates. I love it. But at the same time I wish I could experience the four seasons in their truest form. To be able to see and feel the transience.
