  • This is one of my all-time favorite songs, and my husband and  I have always considered it "our song". 'Once' from the 'Brotherhood Of The Wolf' soundtrack. Once there were oceans, Endless emereld forests, Filled with sounds of magic, Once so long ago... Once I was jaded, Thought I knew a few things, Understood so little, Had so much to lose... Once on a journey, Through the streams and mountains, I stumbled on the road that, Brought me close to you. I will follow you... I will follow you... Even when winter is coming... Once in the forest, You told me that you loved me, From that moment changed me, Something said, "Just once..." Words in a diary, Fade upon the pages, People gone forever, Shadows on a wall. Still I remember, Love we had in winter, Sunlight on your picture, Secrets in the snow. I will follow you... I will follow you... All through the night I will follow. Once on the ocean, Thougt I heard you whisper, "Stay with me forever... Now, always, and for Once...." "Now, always, and Once...." (I will follow you...) (I will follow you...)

  • There is a house built out of stone
Wooden floors, walls and window sills
Tables and chairs worn by all of the dust
This is a place where I don't feel alone
This is a place where i feel at home

    And I built a home
    For you
    For me

    Until it disappeared
    From me
    From you
And now, it's time to leave and turn to dust

    (Instrumental)

Out in the garden where we planted the seeds
There is a tree that's old as me
Branches were sewn by the color of green
Ground had arose and passed its knees

By the cracks of the skin I climbed to the top
I climbed the tree to see the world
When the gusts came around to blow me down
I held on as tightly as you held onto me
I held on as tightly as you held onto me

    And I built a home
    For you
    For me

    Until it disappeared
    From me
    From you

And now, it's time to leave and turn to dust

I love this song and I was delighted when  made a video to this song. The piano chords and instrumental bits provide a 'raw emotion' so to say. && the singer's raspy, wearied voice allow the song to sound more peaceful. You should seriously check out her video, because it provides you with a sense of being. Really. It's that good.

    with love,
    fuzzy.

  • If you happen to know me, you know this one: 'Fall to Pieces' by Avril Lavigne. I've been hearing this song since I've been 14 years old and it doesn't get old. It is also the most played track on my iTunes with over a 100 times in a little over 3 months. I can pretty much relate this song to every person in my life, at lost some of it; it describes most of what I'm feeling all the time. It's my sad song. On the other hand there is my happy song: 'Hands Down' by Dashboard Confessional; this one explains all of my happy moments and all of my somewhat hopes for the future.

But I'm a music-whore, I love all music and these two are just the ones I enjoy the most that I have enjoyed for the most time.

Other songs that I am currently engrossed with are the entire catalog of Damien Rice, particularly 'Delicate', 'Cheers Darling', 'Accidental Babies', 'Elephant' and 'Fool'. Those are the ones that hit me the hardest on  a psychological level. On an emotional level I'm very into Bon Iver's first album 'For Emma'. Also, as random music that I love and that makes me shiver, anything sung by Lea Michele and Spring Awakening's OBC Soundtrack.

I remember the first time I heard this song. I'm a huge La Oreja de Van Gogh fan and I have always loved Amaia. Now Amaia went solo and I wasn't sure about the new girl. This was the first song I heard of her and I knew I would love her too.

There was something about this song that made me want to cry, a certain sadness and I couldn't explain why. It wasn't until later when I learned what happened in Spain March 11, 2004. It truly becomes heart breaking when you know what happens at the end. I have to admire a singer that provides the feelings of the song without outright stating it. I hope you guys enjoy it too:

English translation just for you guys:

    Thursday

If I were prettier and a bit more intelligent
If I were special, if I were a model
I might have the courage to cross the cart
And ask you who you are

You sit opposite to me without even imagining
That I am wearing my loveliest skirt specially for you
And on seeing you heave a yawn at the window pane
    My eyes well up

    Chorus:
Suddenly you look at me, I look at you and you sigh.
I close my eyes, you look away
I hardly breathe, I feel small
    And I begin to tremble

And thus the days pass from Monday to Friday.
Like the swallows from the poem by Bécquer
From station to station, between you and me
    The silence comes and goes

    {Chorus}

And then it happens, my lips wake up
    Stuttering your name.
I assume that you are thinking “What a stupid girl”
    And I want to die

But time stops and you move closer saying
“I do not even know you and I already miss you.
Every morning I turn down the non-stop
    And choose this train”

And now we are about to arrive, my life has changed.
A special day, this eleventh of March.
You take my hand, we arrive at a tunnel
    That cuts out the light

I find your face thanks to my hands.
I become courageous and kiss you on the lips.
You say that you love me and I give you
The last faint beat of my heart

  • Маргарита Вени Дркина, одним словом прекрасна!...
  • Steve Conte And Maaya Sakamoto - Garden of Everything I can't tell you the amount of times I listened to this and just cried or even smiled. Depending on what was going on in my life. This song hits me DEEP man.

You used to say that everyday
We will always be this way
    Flying Angels lifting high

To reach the sun where I belong
Girl you know you were the one
Above the clouds I see you cry

You know that when you smile you stop the rain (top the rain)
And we will be together once again

    Although I’m gone remember me
Please be strong I’ll never leave
Just hold on to the memories
‘cause while I’m here all I’m thinking about is
    Tomorrow

I’ve always known the love you’ve shone
Means you’ll never be alone (alone)
There’ll be times you wonder why

    Seeing you with someone new
Used to makes me feel so blue
But now I’m with you all the time

Oh cause you know that when you smile you stop the rain (you stop the rain)
And we will be together once again

From the moment that I looked into your eyes
All of my life I thought I’d be there by your side (by your side)
I wish I’d took the time to find the words to say (to say)

You know that when you smile you stop the rain (you stop the rain) yeah
And we will together once again

    ‘cause while I’m here
    All I’m thinking about is
    Tomorrow

the first time i heard this song , goosebumps consumed my body.......i cried/almost cried everytime i hear this song.......this is from A1, it's called tomorrow....
