Talk the Talk?

With so many features available on mobile phones, talking is not always everyone’s first priority. What do you use your phone for the most? What features couldn’t you live without?

  • My phone mainly acts as my mobile music device.  I now and again buy those creations known as "MP3 Players" but in the end I fall back onto my phone for storing the music I want to listn to when I'm on the move.  I mainly send text messages over phone calls because you can't overuse smilies in a vocal conversation xD
I also use my phone to keep an eye on my emails.  I'll be getting an actual "work email" within the next few weeks so no doubt that will also find it's way onto my phone for me to be a productive little bee.
    Also Facebook.
And solitare when I'm bored and no where near a computer.  If I've got a spare few minutes, I also use the Internet capabilities my phone has.
I also use the camera an awful lot, even if I'm mainly just taking pictures of my cats.
I couldn't live without my music, camera and text messages (:
P.S. I named my phone Bahamut.

  • It's definitely not a priority. I usually only talk if I have to, or if it is my boyfriend calling. The most, I would have to say is for texting. i text soooo often. The Facebook and MySpace features definitely keep me connected to people as well so they are a MUST.

  • I use my cell phone for texting most, and that's what I probably couldn't live without. That and maybe the camera phone. I could live without everything else, but not the camera phone and the texting. Because then I could take pictures and send them to Facebook.
  • The internet! And the camera. -nodnod- ...I've neglected this journal for so long I decided to play with this. xD

  • My phone has Microsoft Office on it and that is pretty much the only cool feature that it has. I can't surf the internet with it because my bill would skyrocket, but that is what a laptop is for, I suppose. I use Word the most. Being a writer, it is nice to have access to a screen and keyboard without having to wait for my computer to boot up! The majority of my files are incomplete and were pretty much just whims or musings that sprang out of the abyss while I was waiting in line at Starbucks or catching a breather between workouts. But I'll say it before and say it again, it truly is a convenience to have Word standing by for when inspiration strikes.

Another feature that I love (believe it or not) is texting. I'm not one to sit through lectures with my phone hidden behind my bag or to even walk around town, shooting smilies and OMG's to all of my buddies, but texting has gotten me out of a lot of pickles. For example, when I don't have access to my email account, a friend from class will text me and let me know if the lesson has been relocated to another room or if someone only has so much time to rehearse a monologue before work or what have you- it's a real life saver!

Last and certainly not least, I don't have an alarm clock. I've been meaning to buy one just because a bedroom doesn't seem complete without one. However, there is one on my phone. I can make it sound however I want and trust me, making ringtones is crazy fun once you know how to do it. I just go on Window's Movie Maker and create an MP3 file in the sound box. I'm sure there's a simpler way to do it, but it's amazing all the silly little tricks you can find out for yourself just by fiddling around.

  • texting. i love texting and checking my email on there. i couldnt possibly have a phone that couldnt do that.

  • Texting, and texting.

  • I use my phone for texting the most. I wouldn't be able to live without a camera, texting/picture texting.

  • Believe it or not, I talk the most on my phone (cause it is a pay-as-you-go), but in all reality, text messaging is the greatest thing available under the sun for cellphones. I also use the calculator VERY frequently

  • I use it mainly for my ipod because thats...well what I do most, other than that I only really call 4 people my two sisters, best friend, and my mom...wow the variety...
