Superbowl madness or sadness?

If you're in the U.S., will you watch all or part of the Superbowl? Do you have a favorite team? If you're not American, what do you think about Superbowl Sunday?

  • I was not in the US for the Super Bowl and that was extremely disappointing to me. I missed out on all of the good snack foods!! :(
  • I didn't. Didn't last year, didn't this year, don't expect to next year. I'm not a slave to big business sports, or the multi-million-dollar ad campaigns that come with them. I thumb my scaly snout in their general direction!
  • superbullshitbowl is nothing. here in Gree(a)se we have soccer which is bull. too. sports is nothing, just waste of time if you watch 'em from your stupid tv. you might as well do something more useful. buy a ball a start play on your back yard or if you don't have a backyard, just move your fat ass and go down to the park and play some ball with your friends. stop watching tv.

  • I watched the WHOLE SuperBowl! It's a ritual at my house, but we mainly watch it for the commercials. My favorite team happened to be the New Orleans Saints and I was so happy when they won! Reggie didn't let me down:)
  • I didn't watch any of the Superbowl. Didn't care about it, honestly. And, no, I don't have a favorite team. What I did on Superbowl Sunday was help my Mom clean the house and the garage. Yeah, I'd rather clean house than watch a football game, lol.
  • Not so surprisingly, this is the first Superbowl I've remotely had interest in. Having been to New Orleans and seen the sheer spirit the place has, I want the Saints to win and bring them a welcome (and deserved) shot of happiness.
  • I'm not American and I don't follow football. For me, Superbowl Sunday means an evening with nothing to watch on TV. This time, however, I was rooting for the Saints. I thought New Orleans could use something happy and exciting like a big win, and also, someone I strongly dislike favoured the Colts, so... I was doubly happy to see the Saints win. I actually did watch the last ten minutes and found it incomprehensible, but still rather thrilling.

  • We didn't watch the whole game because we were sick. If we had been well, we definitely would have watched it! We wanted the Saints to win, and they did! My daughter was in New Orleans that weekend, and it was crazy. Superbowl Sunday is our country's weakness, but it does bring us together at least one day per year!

  • I love sports, so of course I'll be watching the Superbowl! Even people who don't like sports should at least watch the Superbowl. The best thing about the Superbowl isn't the game, though. It's the commercials. I can't wait to see the Saints beat the Colts, but I especailly can't wait to see the new Budlight and Doritos commercials!
  • me? is football...is me yelling at tv and jumping around like a maniac. you know this and now for football withdrawal. thank god for baseball. ps, i hate my shift key.
