If you could choose only two foods to eat for the rest of your life, what would they be and why? How soon would you grow tired of them?

  • Chicken and rice. I love chicken and I also love rice. You could make them in different ways and I wouldn't grow tired of them because that is what I've been eating for at least 18 years of my life and I always seem to keep wanting more. Btw I am 18 lol. So, I might sound strange. Grr lol! Yummy.... now I'm hungry. Damn.... :(

  • The two foods that i could live off of for the rest of my life would be sunflower seeds and beef jerkey. They do not go bad or spoil and are made to last a really long time. I would probally get tired of them after the first month but i would eat it no matter what to survive. Hopefully i would be on some island sitting around eating jerkey and spitting seeds and living it up my style.
  • Broccoli and DARK chocolate. I believe I would grow sick of them in... hmm... I do not know how long... I think I would grow sick of the gas from the broccoli before I grew sick of the flavour. Probably about 3 months.

  • I would choose potatoes and roast!! It is so good. I dont think that I would grow tired of them ever because both are so versatile!.
  • I couldn't possibly live the rest of my life on just two foods for the rest of my life, unless it was sliced turkey and bread, or steak and cooked asparagus. Even with those, I might die of boredom after a few months.

  • I know that almost everyone would have answered with this one: pizza. There's a lot of different toppings to provide a bit of variation. It's not the healthiest thing, but it's so yummy. I think that I would get tired of it pretty quickly though. The bread and cheese would be really filling and make me feel bad.

    My other food would be green apples. I like them, and I don't think I'd get tired of them. I could eat an apple then have pizza as a dessert!

  • Without question if I were only to eat one food everyday for the rest of my life, I would have Reese's peanut butter cups. Now to make this even more specific, I would not want the minitures or even the regular size Reese's, I want the Big Cup Reese's. Reese's can NEVER get old as they are the best food in the world without doubt. Granted if you eat these every five minutes for the rest of your life they would grow old, like any food you must space out it's use. I mean who does not appreciate the combination of rich yummy chocolate and peanut butter all in one bite? Secondly, I would take a salad everyday. This is something that could offer me variety. I could not only change dressings, but toppings. Even if I did not feel like having some "dry leaves" for dinner I could just pig out on mounds of tomatos and cumcumbers. Honestly, it would not seem like to bad of a life on Reese's peanut butter cups and a sald.
  • This Writer's Block seems to pertain to me :) Only two foods...hmmm.... One of them is potatoes for sure. Potatoes can be cook/fried/baked/boiled in a variety of ways, so even if I'm eating the same food I get some degree of variation. Also, I love potatoes. Well, I have to choose another vegetable/fruit for my second food right? Or else I would die! But wait, I'm also missing dairy and grains. Which food group is more important? I was going to say chocolate. That's dairy. But it also isn't very healthy, and I already did an indulgent pick with potatoes. So, my second choice must be healthy. My second choice would be (drumrollllllllllllllllllllllllllll): red delicious apples. Sorry grains and dairy. I think fruits and veggies are more important. Otherwise, I would get diarrhea (I admit, I had to look up diarrhea in Google, I can never spell it right). IMPORTANT to note that I said red delicious apples: any other type and I'll get sick of their incredibly sweet juicyness by the end of the first day. Red delicious not only look beautiful, but they taste the best too. So, how long would it take me to get sick of potatoes and apples? Hm....I give myself a week at the very most. Wait, but sick in the literal sense, I would probably last three days because I'm missing my dairy and grains.
