I'm a '12 alum who is moving down to Berkeley in August. I found out that to rent a Budget truck for a one-way move is the same price for a 10' or a 16' truck. So if one or two people happen to be moving to the Bay Area and want to split the costs, we could take a half to a third of a truck apiece and move on the cheap.
