ConFluence Highlights:

• Arriving early on Thursday so I could relax and read in the hotel "alcoves."
  
• Finally meeting Chris Conway on Thursday. We had a great conversation that evening while folding program books.
  
• A delicious Italian, fun dinner with Mary B. and Joey Shoji on Friday night.
  
• A snifter of Grand Marnier, tasting two dessert wines, another red wine, hazelnut chocolate cheesecake and chocolate treats . . .Need I say more?
  
• Wailing like a baby on stage with two other women, at Chris Conway's Concert . . .(You had to be there)
  
• Enjoying Urban Tapestry's concert on Friday night.


• Late night conversations with Joey Shoji and sampling Joey's food treats.. .Thank you Joey!!


• Experiencing Michelle Sagara West in full "vocal mode" later Friday night. I also enjoyed getting to know her husband, Tom West at breakfast the next day.


• Getting lyrical envy at Dave Rood's concert. . Wow.


• One-on-one time with Debbie on Saturday night.


• Catching up with various friends, including John Hall, Marty Fabbish, Allison, Trace Hagemann, Dave Rood, Mark Berstein, Randy Hoffman, and others who I can't recall right now!


• Running into an old friend (Dennis) from my first SF club. Dennis and John Philpus (who also attended) introduced me to cons and John introduced me to filk : - )


• Jamming with Pete Grubs and Carl Theil in the consuit late Saturday night. Carl's harmonica playing worked really well with "Mustang's Freedom."


• Laughing my way through ConFluence's Star Trek Spoof, including Randy Hoffman as a Warflike Star Fleet officer *g.*


• Coming home to Matt and later, Tom and Nick.

• My parents, who took care of Matthew while I out of town.
  
• My husband Tom, who had Nick, while I was out of town.
  
• Randy, who organized and managed a great filk track.
  
• ConFluence ConCom - Once again I had a fabulous time. Thank you for your hard work!!
